What is the black spot on my iPhone 5S lcd? Will it spread over the entire screen?
Hello!this generally happens only on IPS LCD displays not on AMOLED display due to presense of liquid.this happened to me when i was traveling with my asus zenfone and suddenly there was heavy rain, and my screen got giant black spot just like this!so if your mobile may have got wet then it must be the reason for that!yes, there are some solutions available,that you have to put the phone fully in the rice and after some hours (8–10) it will probably gone.follow the steps…1. Go to settings>general>auto-lock and select 'never'2. Go to settings>brightness&wallpaper and select auto-brightness 'off', then set brightness level to max!3. Connect charging cable and place phone in a bag or container completely submerged in instant rice (uncle bens worked for me)4. Allow a day or two of this drying out to occur and observe how the stains start changing and disappearing!just give it a try before spending 200$ on screen replacement!if worked hit upvote!
