How can i stop the itching when i get braids?
every time i get corn rows put in about a couple days later my head itches like HELL. because of this i usually take them out after a week, because either they itch too much or i scratch it loose, when i know they last longer than that. ive tried using the oil stuff and the sheen spray they work temporarily but and hour or so after i use them the itching comes back. now i just wash my hair every day with the braids in. this works but my braids only last a couple days because the hair starts coming loose and looks nasty
Why does my scalp itch the most when I put on a scarf?
It gradually stops itching when I take the scarf off, but once I put it back on, it's like ABSOLUTE HELL. This happens with all the scarves I have...they all are machine washed clean too. I don't usually wear scarves, but since I just got my hair done, I don't want to ruin it while sleeping. This has happened to me since maybe.... starting 3 years ago? I don't have lice I don't have any kind of disease or anything... It just uncontrollably itch when I put on a scarf and stops when I take it off. Why is that? What else could I use other than a scarf to preserve my new fresh do? :o

And washing your hair regularly with shampoo is making it even drier, ultimately causing it to itch more. When you take a shower, just put conditioner in your hair.
