try removing the sim card and battery an leaving them out for about 2 minutes, then turn you phone of and on a couple of times, if that doers not work, call your provider from another phone with your cell phone with you so they can trouble shoot. Removing Sim and battery, and turning phone off and on will force register Your phone-that is it will force your phone to look for a cell tower near you-right now it is probably still looking for a tower in the area you were at over the weekend. This is a common problem for people who go out of their home area, or who do not turn their phone off at least once a day

Try changing the way you're describing what's occurring. The language you use keeps the problem in place. Things are changing, they keep changing to the same thing because your saying things aren't changing.Focus on what you wantWhatever is happening right now is leading you to what you want, however you must be will to go through where you are right now and learn something new to break the pattern.Try journaling get out all your thoughts everyday first thing in the morning for 20 mins. Then write out what you're grateful for 20 mins. Then write out how you want your life to be. Write in great detail as much as you can. Then find people who need help and spend time helping them, do that for 90 days. After 90 days look back at your resultsWhatever you're not willing to face will always show up until you learn how to get through it. What makes an iPhone go into "searching" or reading "no SIM"?

Those are unrelated issues, for the most part.“Searching…” is displayed if there's an issue finding a wireless carrier to connect to. The phone is reading the SIM, but is having some other trouble finding the network. It could be that the SIM card is for a carrier that doesn't exist in the country you're in, or a software/firmware problem, a problem with the phone’s cell antenna, etc.Resetting Network Settings is a good first troubleshooting step.“No SIM” is when the phone can't detect a SIM card in the SIM tray. This could be that there's no SIM in the SIM tray… or the software can't read it, due to physical damage, a bad SIM, a software/firmware issue, a poorly seated SIM tray, and so on.Taking the SIM tray out and putting it back in is a good first step here.Incidentally, “No Service” is when either: the phone is successfully conntected to a carrier, but is simply out of range of a cell tower; or it's not activated at all.

Why does the top left of my iPhone keeps saying "searching" and "no service" even after I've restarted it and remove and insert simcard over and over?

Sounds like a good time to carry it into an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for some diagnostics and visual inspection.Plus, they can test another known good SIM to rule that out. They might also be able to test your SIM in another iPhone to verify you have active service or not.

My phone says "Searching for Service" how can I fix it?

Verizon phones don't have a sim card. You'll probably have to take it in to the store and see if they can exchange it. You've got a year warranty on any new phone against defects, but that may also require sending it to the manufacturer.
Also does your phone have the "reset network settings" option? You might try that first.

IPhone 5 stuck "Searching for Service" after dropping in water?

Yesterday I dropped my iPhone in the water and had it on rice for the past 24 hours. Today I took it out and turned it on and it works! Now the only problem is that where the cellular service bars usually are, it just says "searching". I've tried taking out the sim card and using computer air cleaner to clear out the slot, I tried resetting it, and it's still stuck on "searching". Wifi still works. What can I do?
