My Sims 2 game is frozen how do I fix it?
*sigh* So many answers, so little help. First open My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 Find the Groups.cache and Accessory.cache files and delete them. Try playing the game. If it doesn't work still, open My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads folder, MOVE everything in there out into a folder on your desktop. Try playing the game. If the game plays fine, something in your Downloads folder was bad. You can either delete all of it or put it back a piece at a time and try to play the game after each. Long process. If neither of these work, I'd suggest a reinstallation. Good luck

I have a Mac, and I have force closed out of windows at times, including The Sims 3. Try pushing Command + Option + Esc at the same time. Hold them down until it closes.

You just need to reset them :) open the cheat console by pressing ctrl + shift + c type in "resetsim Firstname Lastname" (without the quote marks and obviously put your sims name in there) For example if I had a sim called David Smith I'd type: resetsim David Smith If that doesn't work, try going to edit town mode and evict the household. You can just put them back in the same house, but it will reset the entire family and should fix the problem if the reset cheat doesn't work. :)

I found this solution yesterday - I had the same problem and tried all sorts of things. This one worked: 1. Use the cheat console and type "moveObjects on" and hit Enter 2. Enter the Buy mode/Family inventory and then drag your frozen Sim into the Family inventory. 3. Go back to normal gameplay mode. After that procedure my Sim had reappeared in the House, close to the door - and the Sim was functioning (and moving) properly again. The only problem you have now is that your Sim is still listed in your Family inventory (even though the Sim's already functioning in the game again) and you can't delete it there, but that's probably a minor issue since the big problem of having a frozen Sim is solved that way. I hope that works for you too.

Sims 2 Bon Voyage- Sims Stuck In Tent!! ?
Using the boolprop cheat, hold down shift like normal and click on your sims. Look for the option that says "Force Error". Use that, and when the error message pops up, click "reset". They should pop back up, but outside the tent. My sims get frozen in double beds alot, and this is how I get them unstuck. Hopefully it will work for your tent too.
