My Sister Buys Me A Ticket To Go On Vacation Without Even Asking Me

Sister keeps using my car without asking?

Tell your mom "share" means each person gets an equal use of the car. In this case that can never be because, as you said, you are at college. So therefore, the least she can do is make sure your sister doesn't use it when you are home. If all else fails, take the keys. Its your car after all.

Should i buy her concert tickets for her birthday?

Here's the story. Im 17. I've known this girl through a dance group for 3 years & I really like her(she doesn't know.)I don't plan on telling her my feelings, cuz we are pretty good friends. I think that if she knew she wouldn't think of me the same. I mean, best case scenario she reciprocates the feelings, but I find that unlikely. I highly doubt she sees anything in me that way. +,a mutual guy friend also likes her, & has known her for much longer-they are like best friends. Even tho she has said no to him, I don't want to hurt him. I don't want to compromise either relationship. Plus I have no idea how gfs/dates are supposed to work. Romantic blocks aside, I would like to know her better as a friend.

Both our fav band is Fall Out Boy, and they are coming to our city in July. I wouldn't normally go, but she really does want to go. She can't afford it tho because she is saving for a Europe trip. Would it be inappropriate to buy her a ticket for her birthday earlier in july? Thing is though, I kinda don't have money either. $60 or more per ticket. Thats a lot for me - I make no money (I just applied for a job though) & I'm saving what I do have for college books. Would it come off as too much for a friend gift? If i do, Should I buy her one or two tickets? (the hope would be she goes with me, but I wouldn't expect or ask that). One ticket just doesn't seem quite right. but 120-160 is a lot.

I want to make her happy, but would doing something like this be weird as a friend?

Is it rude to ask someone to buy you something when you go on a trip?

So I'm leaving on a mission trip to Cambodia and this girl I work with asked me to buy her a bracelet while I'm there. I've been to Cambodia before and I've told people how cheap things are there so I can see how I'm probably just being too sensitive especially with the trip weighing heavily on my nerves. But at the same time I just feel like it's a little rude... If I was going just for vacation then sure it would be no problem but it's a mission trip so I think that should be treated differently right? I'm there for 8 days and only 1 of those days do I get to spend shopping and sight-seeing. The rest is downright work. I would have gotten her a souvenir anyway but is it rude for her to outright ask?

Can I buy a flight ticket for someone in another country?

The simple answer is “yes”. That said there are a range of pitfalls you need to avoid.Firstly, there are some countries that have restrictions on precisely what can be done. As others have mentioned you might find you can’t buy a ticket for someone from some countries. YOU might live in a country which has exchange controls barring you from exporting money. Some airlines and governments have specific security regulations about the documents you must present for check in. Make sure you understand those restrictions BEFORE you make a reservation. Maybe you should call the airline and ask.Check if your friend needs a visa. If they do don’t buy the ticket until the visa is granted. If you buy the ticket and the visa is denied you may not get a refund.Get your friend to find out what the fare is if he buys it locally. then you check what it will cost if you buy it. A fare from A to B purchased in country X may not be the same if the ticket is purchased in county Y. If the local fare is cheaper contact your bank to find out how much it will cost to send the money to your friend.Last you have to be very, very accurate in everything you do. You know someone as “Ed”? His actual name might be Edwin or Edward or/….. It is imperative that you get all the details off their passport and you enter them correctly.Check and double check absolutely everything I’ve written about.

What should I ask my parents for for high school graduation?

My mom gave me a kiss on the cheek and my dad gave me a pat on the back and told me they loved me, but i spent the whole night getting hammered with the people I truly care about, which was the best gift i could have ever asked for. But i come from a working class family and i've learned that its the not the cars and vacations that are fun, it's the memories you make with the people while your driving in a car, or while on vacation with your friends. Material possessions will break, rust or get lost, but the memories you make with the people you truly love will last forever.

That being said, get a bottle of booze or a case of beer (and be responsible, not one of those people who gets way to drunk and spends the night getting laughed at in the bathroom) and just hang out with your friends and reminisce about high school, you probably remember some good times that your friends forgot about and vice versa.

Proper wedding date etiquette - pay for my dates flight ticket?

My boyfriend and I have been dating slightly over 2 years - we just moved in together. He makes almost twice as much as I do so while we split rent 50/50, he pays for most things - and we are both fine with that. It works well for us. My sister is getting married in the fall and we agreed he'd come and afterwards we'd spend a few days in Portland going to breweries (for him because beer is his hobby).

What is proper wedding date etiquette about paying for the flights (Boston to Seattle)? Am I supposed to pay since it's my sister's wedding? But he makes so much more $$ than me and we are doing something for him afterwards so is it fair for me to expect him to buy his own ticket? Plus I'll probably go out a few days earlier than him.
