When my twins, a boy and a girl, were young we lived in the city. There weren’t a lot of bugs. But when the kids were old enough to handle a bit of a walk, around five years old or so, we took them to a nature area behind a local museum.As we walked along a trail in a field my wife and I simultaneously exclaimed, “Look! One time when she was about four, while playing in a tot-lot she found and “befriended” a worm. She held it for a little while, but then decide she should release it in some grass far enough away from the kids that it wouldn’t get stepped on or hurt.She gently laid it down in the grass, turned and started to walk away. After about twenty feet or so, she turned to look back one more time to make sure the worm was okay. At that moment a bird swooped out of the sky, grabbed the worm with its claws and flew off.My daughter let loose a scream of anguish. Everybody in the park turned to see what terrible fate had befallen some poor child. We explained that a bird ate her worm, and then tended to her comfort. She cried for about five minutes and even talked about it after we got home. It turned out to be a little lesson on the circle of life.
I found a green Caterpillar in my basement...?
and it was about 1 1/2 inches long! GROSS! It was moving very slowly. Do you think there are more of them and should I get someone to spray? I got the heebee geebees and I was tip toeing all over the house and thinking I'd see bugs when it was only a scuff on the wall.

I would at least take note and just be cautious. If it is a dream that she is old enough to be infirmed of then tell her. If you tell her and she ever gets in a situation that seems similar, you telling her the dream may click in her subconscious making her aware that the situation could be dangerous.. If this “little” sister is still at home with parents, tell mom them. I wouldnt just blow it off because if something did happen, you would blame yourself. How can I get rid of the little caterpillars that eat geraniums?
All of my geraniums are getting eaten by these little green caterpillars. They blend in with the geranium stem and eat the flower buds before they open, so I end up with buds that have little holes in them, and no flower left inside. I've tried spraying / soaking the plants with a few different "bug killer" products that are supposed to kill caterpillars, but nothing has worked so far.

Worms in grapes? Help?
So we went to the store and bought grapes, we washed them they looked okay. Everyone had a few. My sister in law, who just had a baby like ten days ago, bit into one and there was something white in it? it's about the size of a fingernail and kinda looks like a worm. We don't know if the rest of us ate any. Are they dangerous? Will it affect her breast feeding/should she call the hospital? Can you get tape worm? Or what exactly are they? Thanks!
What is this worm in a tiny hole in my dog's neck?
As my sister and i were playing with our new puppy we felt a small lump on his neck we opened the hair around the place we flt a lump nad saw a tan/green lump that came out of this red whole in his neck. We think it was the end of worm and the head is in the whole and the part we saw was his but. I cut off the part i saw? HE is now throwing up...? what is this mysterious worm/lump/hole we saw?
