My Sister Has A Warrant For Arrest

How can I find out if my sister-in-law has a warrant out for her arrest in a different state?

Well this is quite simple. Find out what state she might have a warrant for her arrest in and call the state police department. Explain to them what the situation is and then tell them you need to know if you need to come back cause there is a warrant for your arrest (it has to be your sister calling, we will not release information about an adult to anyone but themselves). If it's not a felony usually the state won't give a **** and they will say if she is caught back in that state then she will be arrest. As for her being pulled over states away and they somehow see that she has a warrant in another state and it's nothing major they won't bother with it. Too much cost for little charges but if it's major she will be arrested and be heading back to where the warrant is.

Basically it all comes down to what she has done. Even then there is no real way to see if there is a warrant unless you purchase a criminal background check. I can do that for you so if you email me policeguy86@ymail.com I can better explain.

Are Arrest Warrants issued over the phone?

I don't think so. When the police go through the process of obtaining a search warrant from a Judge or Justice of the Peace, they have to ensure that the warrant is executed unmistakeably, that is not over the phone (obviously because they could think like you are, could be a scam or something). If your husband never did anything wrong, then obviously that's a red flag and he cannot be arrested. And even if he did, the police would probably show up at your door. The Criminal Justice system is all about ensuring that the accused understands what is going on (as in the case of being read your rights and being asked "the right way" if you understand). If I were you, I would give the station a call. It wouldn't hurt. I'm sure they get people impersonating police officers all the time.

Can you get married if you have a warrant for your arrest?

i'm in phoenix, arizona. my sister failed to appear for a court date (traffic court) eventually a warrant was issued for failure to pay the fines and appear. she wants to go downtown and file for a marriage licence and get married but is afraid once they say i do, they will hear "hands behind your back please" lol

Can an arrest warrant be issued on accusations?

Yes.An officer only needs probable cause to file for an arrest warrant. Probable cause doesn’t mean cold hard evidence. That can be a good or a bad thing.Once, I arrested a man in his early 20’s after a seven-year-old girl accused him of exposing himself to her. The girl described a tattoo in his private area. My supervisor filed for the warrant, and when he was searched at the jail, jail staff observed the tattoo the young girl described. Until the tattoo was observed, all I had was the young girl’s complaint.I made that arrest in 2013. He went to trial in 2014, and he’s still in prison. He’ll probably get out around 2020.Now, I have a friend whose son is trying to go into the Navy. His 14-year-old kid sister had a friend stay over (because her mother is living in a motel room with the girl’s other siblings). The girls slept in the same bed, but the 14-year-old friend started going around saying she and the older brother had sex. When the older brother confronted her about it, she changed her story saying he raped her… supposedly while his kid sister was sleeping right next to them in the same bed. Knowing all the parties involved, I believe the girl is lying. However, her accusation was enough for the investigator to get a warrant and arrest the guy. It’s cost his mother $5k for the attorney, to date. If the case goes to trial, it will cost her another $5k.Arresting on accusation is a double-edged sword.

Can I file a police report having a warrant for my arrest and not get arrested?

It depends on the police department. You might call the police department, as a person who does not have a warrant, and ask them that question. Ask them if they run a check on a person filing a complaint.

On the other hand, even if they don't when filing that complaint, there may be a chance that a check will be run at a later date, and the police will then have that person's address and such.

Maybe your friend should take care of whatever trouble it is that they are in at present, and file the report anyway.

Can you get married if you have a bench warrant?

Your sister has some issues apparently doesn't she?

The actual act of getting married, won't get her arrested. I'd imagine that her economic circumstances aren't going to allow a big wedding, so she'll have a justice of the peace enter the marriage documents and she'll have to file a marriage license with her county seat. That's it, they don't sit and scan every person against the town Most Wanted List. That doesn't exist.

But, she will get arrested and she could immediately lose custody of the baby and if she ends up doing time, which for the violations you cited, she probably will, she'll lose important bonding time with her baby.

Better that that she call her Probation Officer or the court and see what is ahead of her and make her plans accordingly to get things straightened out. The longer she avoids her obligation the worse the consequences will be once she's found.

But judging from what you describe, her doing that is highly unlikely.

Just don't let her have the wedding at your house and don't let her shack up at your house, you could be arrested too for harboring a fugitive.

How do you pay off warrants in the state of Ohio?

First, she needs to figure out what Ohio court placed the block on her license. She needs to call the Ohio BMV, try 614-752-7600.

They should be able to say where the block was placed on her license. Then she can contact that court and find out what case it relates to. If the block was for something relatively minor, like failing to pay a minor traffic ticket, then it can be cleared up by paying the fine. But if the block relates to a more serious charge then she is going to need to appear and deal with the charges against her.

Will Imran Khan now act impartially and have his sister arrested and put in jail?

This is not the job of prime minister to arrest someone on charges whether proved or unproved. Rather, it is the job of investigation authorities to issue a warrant for arrest if charges are strong enough. In Pakistan, it is going to be National Accountability Bureau (NAB) or Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) to investigate charges against any accused. However, Imran Khan will not interfere in these institutions because this is how his approach of administration is. In the past, he removed his father from SKM hospital (his brainchild) board because he was not meeting expecations. And even further, he as captain removed his first cousin from cricket team due to having better alternatives. In crux, he believes in meritocracy and does not succumb to pressures or emotions. Let's see how this goes.

Can I get my ID if I have a warrant on my driver’s license in Texas?

Now it’s been awhile, but assuming nothing changed about this. Calif. may or may not put a hold on your license. How this works is this: Calif. will take your thumb print, which goes to the FBI. Texas will be notified by the FBI, that someone in Calif. as the same print in Texas and Texas will contact Calif with the warrant information. That information will be past along to the Police/Sheriff who is in charge of where you listed as your new address. Now you can look forward to seeing two men standing at your front door with an invite for an all expenses paid trip back to Texas in handcuffs. My advise, contact a attorney ASAP, Texas is not a, shell we say, “a soft and fluffy” state, when it comes to prisons. They tend to see things in Black & White Those folks in Law Enforcement, whom I’ve meet, tend to mean just what they say and they will only say it once. Mind your manors, Y’all.

In which Western countries other than America can you get arrested for resisting arrest?

In the UK “Any person who resists or wilfully obstructs a constable in the execution of his duty, or a person assisting a constable in the execution of his duty, shall be guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month or to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale, or to both.”S.89 Police Act 1996So somebody not getting arrested himself can be convicted of this offence if he or she physically interferes with the officer or anybody assisting them, even if they had committed no other offence. Friend and relatives often end up getting arrested for this in public disorder situations. Also, if you are being arrested for an offence, of which it is later found that you are not guilty, you can still be prosecuted for resisting if you do not ‘come quietly’.
