My Skin Is So Spotty And Oily Help Im13

What can be done to keep straight, thin, oily hair clean?

My 12 year old daughter has very pretty hair when it looks clean, but it gets oily looking quickly, she washes it every night and by the next afternoon, it looks oily again

I have a spotty chest and a spotty bak and im 13 how do i get rid of it I NEED HELP LOL¬!?

probably has something to do with the water. I recommend going back to America forever. I have a llot of british friends and I am sure you are better off in America.

A question for you makeup lovers!!? Oily skin?

Mineral makeup and oil-free tinted moisturizers are perfect for oily skin. Apply an oil free concealer to blemishes, redness, and undereye circles, then apply a thin layer of tinted moisturizer - you need about a dime sized bit, or maybe even less. Then a quick dusting of loose mineral foundation (if you want more coverage) and/or loose mineral transluscent powder (to finish off the look) and you're good to go. Mineral makeup is good for young, oily skin as it's very light and gives a very nice semi-matte finish, doesn't clog pores, is waterproof and smudge resistant and can actually help acne. Tinted moisturizer, which you can make by mixing a light water-based liquid foundation with an oil-free moisturizer, provides a very nice light natural coverage and looks very good under powder.

Avoid oil-based foundations, pressed powder, talc-based powder, creams and heavy liquids, because these are not suitable for oily, young skin. make sure you take off all your makeup with face wipes or makeup remover before washing your face every night. Blotting papers are good for taking away any shine throughout the day without disturbing your makeup or piling on more powder.

Brand wise, I use maybelline for my concealer, powder and foundation - but apparently the mineral line by L'Oreal is best. I live in australia, so I use Nivea Young or 10.0.6 tinted moisturizers, but I don't know if they're available wherever you live.

Good luck.

Differin Messed Up My Skin! Help!?

Hi,

I feel your pain. I had the same thing happen to me two years ago. I'm 22 and had combination patchy skin with some pimples. The dermatologist I went to acted the same way as yours. She prescribed me differin. I used it once (once and only once) and it burned my skin off. It took a whole month for it to heal and the flakes of dead skin to come off. I would suggest buying a good moisturizer made from natural/organic ingredients to help your skin return to normal. Good skin really comes from the nutrients you put in your body. Bad skin is usually a result of all the nasty toxins coming out.
Try eliminating dairy and wheat products from your diet for thirty day and see what happens. Avoid processed foods as much as you can because these foods contain additives, preservatives and nutritionally depleted ingredients.

Increase your zinc supplementation, eat as much whole/raw fruits and vegetables as you can. I also supplement with Astaxanthin (an algae) and Omega - 3 oils (ocean derived). When you said that your skin looks like that a 40 year old, it is because the fibrous connective tissue in your skin is hardening. You need to drink clean pure water (i recommend distilled) and not that 8 glasses a day, a liter is usually enough depending on how much liquid you consume and where you live.

As soon as I changed my diet, my skin got a lot better.

I exfoliate twice a week with a homemade mask and once every 2 weeks, make a bentonite clay mask. This a clay that sucks all the nasty things that are stuck in your pores (especially the white and black heads). I would only do this until your face has healed. I wash my skin with the Purpose cleanser it does not dry it out like Dial would. Don't use anything that has soap it will make your skin worse, especially when it is in this condition.

In my opinion, do not try any chemical products on your skin until you have tried to change your diet. You can try as many products as you want but the acne will always come back because it is coming from inside your body. This is not an overnight process, It can take a few months for your body to heal itself.

I'm a 17 year old girl, and I've struggled with acne and dry skin since I was 13. I've tried almost everything under the sun. What can I do to actually treat and cure my acne?

To be honest, your age has A LOT to do with it. Your skin is a lot more volatile as a teenager and it’s much, much more difficult to control. I had a lot of issues as a teenager too because of hormones and growth spurts. Trust me, it will get better as you get older :) Here’s what you can do now to try to control outbreaks as much as possible:Wash your face regularly, but dont be too rough- be gentle with your skin and use a toner when you’re done. (Try rose water or apple cider vinegar as a toner.)Avoid touching your face - THIS WORKS WONDERS. I know it’s tempting to brush our fingers against our face to feel around for acne of dry spots, but you have to stop. Carry face tissues if you have a habit of touching and wiping your face.Drink LOTS of water. If you want to see results fast, then I suggest you drink 3 litres of water per day- It’s crazy how well your skin will start glowing. All the toxins get flushed out of your system; It’s like a constant cleansing that takes place internally.Try tea tree oil. In my experience, tea tree oil has been great for curing acne, pimples or break outs. I use a roll on because it’s easy to apply. Don’t worry about which brand to get, just make sure you’re getting authentic tea tree oil- mine is unbranded from a local (roadside)Ayurveda shop in Kerala.Hope this helps! You can read more of my beauty and fashion opinions on the blog below. How to improve myself over the summer?

Hey guys! My summer just started and I want to completely change myself over the summer, and when the summers end I want to look prettier and I want it to like, have a drastic change on me. Can you please give me some ideas on how I can improve myself!

SKIN- my skin is pretty much normal, not dry or oily, but its patchy and extremely tanned :( I want the tan to go away and my skin to give out a gloww.
EYES- I have really dark, dark circles!(and its not genetic, started getting them about years ago) Is there any effective way to remove them asap? And my eyebrows are reallyyyy light, is there any way to darken them? and something natural that can make my lashes grow longer and thicker as they are hardly visible!
LIPS- My lips are becoming really puffy now, although they weren't before. and the weirdest thing is that the top part of my lip is more brownish and my lower lip is quite pink. so yeah it looks pretty weird.
HAIR- I had straight hair but since I cut it in layers, its starting to get wavy, any idea on how I can make it straight again without using straighter? And my hair is jet black but its realllyyy thin and I have a lot of hair fall. how can I make my hair thick and reduce hairfall preferably using natural things, not hair products.
WEIGHT- I want to GAIN a few extra pounds. Im only 72 pounds and Im 13 years old. Every one says I look way too skinny! I wanna be atleast 80-85 pounds! Is there any specific thing I should eat, something that actually tastes good and not something I feel like pukingg?

WOW THATS ALOT. But please reply soon with something helpful. and yeas, please don't say I should have more self-confident and all, everyone in my school are drop-dead gorgeous and I feel like a loser. I do have a lot of self-confidence but beauty does infact increase it! THANKS A LOT!

I already shaved my arms, legs and now im regretting it?

ok like everyone else says, im real hairy. but when i was 12 i shaved my arms and legs. all on one whimsical 3...2...1 go! type of thing. at first i just let it grow again but then i noticed it was kinda patchy, now that im 13, and shaved it all over again. also because it was kinda dark and my skin is kinda light (asian pale yellow-y color). now every time it grows it bothers me because its all pokey and i cant help but shave it again.... but should i just let it grow?? what about my leg hair, let it grow or no?
recently, i also noticed a line of hair on my belly button and shaved it off thinking it would just be gone, but the hair grew back darker and more noticeable and not in such a straight line. so. should i pluck it, let it be, or shave it again? i cant really wax it (havent got the time or money).

dont criticize me.... im already regretting it... it sucks. is there a way to just rid yourself of all this hair so it doesnt even GROW back and you dont have to bother with it?
