My Son Is One Year Old Today How Far Has He Travelled From The Spot In The Universe Where He Was

Could our dreams be from parallel universes?

Some, maybe, but most, no. Let me explain, because I have done extensive research in this area. Most dreams are derived from what's on our waking minds, our secret desires, or just our brains blowing off steam based on stuff that we've seen before or thought about. That's more than 90% of what dreams are. A few of these may take the form of lucid dreams, which are dreams that we can control because during the dream, we realize we're dreaming.Ever have a dream that wasn't lucid and involved a place that you've maybe never remember being to? Or a place that you recognize but key things are different? Now, ever return to those places but not in a repeat of the some dream, but literally visiting them again and time has gone by in the mean time? Welcome to the world of parallel universe dream perception.I don't have stories of other people to report but I have found that this happens to others and most so-called dream interpreters never write about them because they can't interpret them. There's nothing symbolic happening.I'm not going to tell about the ones I've had because it's just anecdotal, except for one that I tracked down to this world. It was about a night club in the early 1960s that I felt I had a connection to through a serious of dreams which I felt weren't typical. Long story, short, I did some research and found the club. I then looked back into my personal history to figure out where things would have been different that would have allowed for me to meet people from there after the club went out of business. I found that split off point and then followed it to where I could have met them, one in particular. I found her and tracked her down to where she lives now. I never met her in this life, but I did in that dream. Now, I never should've been able to find that club (especially in the dream I never knew the name), find those same people, figured out how I could've actually met them, especially one in particular, and then found where she is and is still alive. So, yes. In rare cases, dreams can be from parallel universes...

If I was going the speed of light and travelled 10 light years, would that be 10 years to someone on earth or 10 years to me?

It depends on your frame of reference.  The change in time is described by rthe Lorentz transformation, which is: If you were standing on Earth, and you said "I want to travel 10 light years," you could effectively reach any place 10 lightyears from Earth.  That means, from Earth, if we watched your spacecraft hurtle towards your remote destination of choice, we would see it taking 10 years.  This is t in the above equations. But, if you brought a timer/calendar on board the spacecraft with you, you would measure the altered time, which is t' in the above equations.  My background on this is a bit rusty, so I hope other Quorites keep me honest, but the faster you move, the larger the subtraction term becomes in the Lorentz equation.  This means, since you are moving near or at the speed of light, this term will approach x/c, which is larger than vx/c^2, making the time dilation more pronounced.  (fyi, gamma is less than 1 but approaches 1 as v approaches c).  So to answer your question, it's 10 years from your original observation point, mainly because that is where you decide to "travel 10 light years" from.  If you are on the ship, you would experience less time.  You can figure out the time using the equations above, but it's late and my head hurts.  I'll let someone else tackle that for you :)

Should a 13 year old boy run away to Hollywood?

So i know this kid who always talks about becoming a great actor. He is 13 going to be 14 in August. He told me he is planning on running away to Hollywood to fufill his dream as an actor. He has $5,000 in cash (not stolen, no stolen credits cards or anything,no fake i.d.) He said he hates his parents , his dad is always yelling at him and insulting him and threatening to kick him out or put him in a foster home(hits him too)..and his mom doesnt take him seriously, like he told her he wanted to become an actor and she just laughed in his face(bad mom also) So he has no family to lose if he runs away(only child, too) Do you think he will make it? Will he get into trouble with the cops or something? The reason i am asking is because he's my friend and im worried what will happen to him. And for all the people who say u have to finish high school to be an actor/actress i say bullshit! do u know how many kid actors are out there? Like dakota fanning, cole & dylan sprouse, and kristen stewart started acting at a young age...so why not him?

My 13 year old son's IQ is 75, what does this mean?

Have you spoken to the school or to the person who did the assessment?
They (who ever did the assessment) should be sitting down with you to explain to you what this score means, and what they recommend to ensure your son is meeting his educational needs, including any daily life skills he may need etc.

Your son having a below average IQ level does not mean he wont be able to function independently or work as an adult. Now you know why he is struggling, his school & you can start by ensuring he has all the daily life skills he needs which will help him live independently if he wishes.

There are many people who have borderline/below average IQ levels who are living independently and are able to work with little or no supervision.

Most certainly focus on his strengths, which will help build his self confidence & self esteem, but do work on his weaknesses, so he learns that is important to keep trying.

Never loose focus or give up, yes it will be hard & frustrating, always ask questions and be guided by the support and help from the school/teachers, counselors, OT, Speech, Pediatrician and other specialist involved in his care, your son will achieve a fairly good education and have good life and most likely be able to live independently.

I started working in special ed school, in particularly early intervention, however I worked in the independent room for teens a few times which I loved. Many of these young teens, had various disabilities, we built on their daily independent skills, such as menu planning, budgeting, shopping, bill paying, meal preparation, and many of these teens (I should say now adults) are living independently.
It is very heartening to see how much these young children & teens can achieve and I have no doubt your son can & will achieve much in his life with your support.

How was your life at 27 years old?

Life is weird.
I'll bet when you were 15, you thought your parents were nerds, and they needed to get a life.
That's how I felt.
Then I got plunged into the real world, and before long, I was asking those same nerds for advice.
It doesn't matter how old you are...27 or 57.
We all have crap that we go through.
If you are going through 'it', then yes, that is normal. It is normal for you.
Life is one big giant education. Sometimes you make the right choice and sometimes you don't.
Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug.
The trick to it all?
Never quit.
Hershey got turned down 27 times. Everyone told him he was an idiot.
No bank would touch him. Even his family laughed at him.
Eventually he created The Hershey Chocolate Company.
And today there is a city, named after him, in Pennsylvania.
So, who was the idiot? Who was the bug?

What is the pariharam for not doing Pithru Srardham every year?

Respected Flute Sir,

Probably you do not realize apart from the cost involved in traveling to India from far off places, one has to get sufficient number days off from office work every year:. If the Kids are doing School, it would be more difficult to ask permission for them from the School authorities;
First one has to keep the job going, other wise traveling to India itself will be a problem.
Yes. I agree with you that one has to do a gratitude to the departed, but what is wrong if the gratitude is shown on any day? Do you mean to say if one shows the gratitude on a particular ‘Thithi’ only ,it will be accepted by the departed?
