My Steam Inventory Is Broken

What can I do to get ungrounded from Steam?

My bad I click ask question before I added contextMy parents grounded me from Steam in April. Reasons for are slightly off. I wanted to kill myself from a combination of my parents harsh rules. I can get grounded for pretty much everything I do. I wasn’t accepted by my parents and I was losing friends on Steam. i know it sounds stupid but these few people were all I had in my life. We had a real friendship and we loved and cared about each other and suicide was threatening to take the people I love most away. I wanted to end myself because I thought what I was doing wasn’t helping her and I loved her, but a friend started dating her before I could confess my feelings to her. My self esteem as well as my will to live was gone. They broke up after she reveled something huge to him and I started to date her. But in the end I was played in the most evil of ways. I was catfished and the catfisher claimed to be a transgender girl which explained this whole suicide scheme. The other 3 people I hold so dear to my heart are real but my parents refuse to unground me. What do I do, I just want to be in the arms of them once more?

Will steam (in the shower) damage a phone?

If you notice you will seldom see WATERPROOF on any product. Companies have learned their lesson on that so now the common wordings are;Water resistantTo a certain depthUnder normal conditions. The reason is if they say water proof sure enough someone will take it beyond the max, get water damage then try and sue the company for false advertising.Steam is water and can POTENTIALLY get into a device easier than actual water can and cause a short or corrosion. My advice would be to avoid having your phone even just in the bathroom while taking a shower. In most cases you can live without a phone for the 5 to 10 minutes you are scrubbing down. However I will admit I do usually bring my phone into the bathroom with me while I shower (but not in the shower) just in case someone calls. But after reading this question it finally dawned on me that it is not the smartest thing to do so thank you for asking it.FYI-MOST cell phones today are only designed to last 18 to 24 months under normal conditions. That way when they break you are getting a new one every few years insuring future sales however I’ve known people (including myself) that have had phones last far longer. I would venture to say it is because those people don’t use their phones normally. With the cost of a new phone being what it is with a ton of extra features (most of which I seldom use, to me it’s a phone to talk on, send the occasional text, directions/maps, take a few pictures and do some light internet surfing, not start up a nuclear reactor) maybe I don’t need that top of the line most expensive phone on display when my current one flames out.

I gave my boyfriend Fallout 4 as a present. He activated it on his Steam, but we recently broke up badly. Can I now run Fallout 4 on my Steam Account?

No....because it was a gift, and he activated it....he didn't steal it from you, you voluntarily gave him the item..so, that makes it his. So, unless you guys use family sharing, you no longer have access to it.You could ask him to purchase you a copy, or to pay you the cost of the game......Which he may, or may not do willingly. If it was me, I would if the gift was given right before the breakup. Though, I wouldn't ask for a gift back after a falling out(No pun intended), but wouldn't have an issue with someone asking me for a gift back, unless the person who is asking for the gift hurt me by cheating on me, or whatever.

How do you tell if your engine is blown?

A blown engine will usually exhibit one of the following symptoms:Is frozen (won’t turn over)Engine stops with a loud sound (sometimes leaks oil onto ground)Won’t start despite a working ignition and correct fuel/air mixture (really this is a lack of compression from damaged valves or damaged pistons or rings)Starts but makes a terrible pounding noiseStarts but blows excessive smokeThe following symptoms are bad signs that don’t necessarily imply a blown engine:Starts but overheats after 10 to 60 minutesStarts but runs very roughly (not running on all cylinders)Oil found in cooling systemCoolant found in motor oilBlows coolant out the exhaust (smells sweet)Burns excessive oil

What damage can be caused when driving with a radiator cap not put back?

The radiator cap stabilizes the coolant in the system. The engine block gets hot enough to cause steam bubbles to form. With the cap in place, the bubbles are subdued and the liquid coolant smoothly circulates through the pump, block, radiator, and back. Without the cap, the steam bubbles push coolant out of the radiator neck in large “burps”. This lost coolant makes overheating worse and if not quickly shut off, the heads on the engine can warp, causing the head gaskets to leak. All of this generates a large repair bill which may make the car uneconomical to fix.

What is a quick way to tell if your car is overheating or your gauge is broken?

There are several stages to overheating. If you notice that the temperature gauge is broken and if the radiator fan is running in full power for a long period without cutting out is the initial sign that the engine is overheating. Pull over immediately at a safe location away from traffic and switch off the engine and open the hood/ bonnet to ventilate the engine. The next or worse stage of overheating before the head-gasket blowout will be sluggishness. the car will loose power and you might need to downshift the maintain highway speeds. when you feel this sluggishness, pull over immediately and carefully open the hood/bonnet and let the engine cool down while the engine is running in idle speed. after about 3 minutes switch off the engine and wait for about 30 - 45 minutes before you open the radiator or the coolant reservoir to top-up the coolant. Before opening the radiator cap or the coolant reservoir lid, it would be safe to first pour a good amount of cold water on the lid or cap to cool off the pressure (DO NOT POUR COLD WATER OVER THE ENGINE, BUT ONLY OVER THE RADIATOR) and only open the cap using a large thick cloth to protect yourself from steam flashes or boiling water splashes.
