Infected tongue web piercing?
If it rejects, you will know because skin will grow over the jewelry and the jewelry will slowly be pushed out of your tongue web. If it gets infected it will be swollen for an excessive amount of time and may emit green gunk. Yellowish and clear gunk is normal for the first few days of healing. It should heal fairly quickly given you take good care of it since oral piercings heal the fastest. Just swish sea salt solution (sea salt mixed into warm water) in your mouth twice a day and it should heal right up. Hope this helps :)

do not take it out because then the infection will get closed under the skin and it will hurt and prolong the infection the hole if fine. it is supposed to get a little loose around the jewelry use salt water soaks 1 to 2 times a day for 10 minutes to clean it up and help with the infection do not play with, twist or irritate the piercing in any way don't use rubbing alcohol or peroxide on it because it will just kill the healing tissue whenever you eat rinse out your mouth to prevent anymore infections other than that you just have to be patient
Signs of infection - tongue web piercing?
i've had my tongue web pierced for almost 2 weeks (2 weeks tomorrow) and it was pretty much painless, i've been rinsing with 1 tbsp sea salt in a bottle of water 5-10 times a day (as my piercer recomended) i also recently started rinsing once a day with biotene (alcohol free mouthwash, it helps reduce the plaque build up on the jewlery and makes it easier to remove.. )so i thought it would be good so i wouldn't irritate the piercing by trying to get plaque off. however, on the left side of the piercing, i've noticed a white bump. theres no discharge from it, and it doesnt hurt at all, although i'm becoming kind of worried as i don't know what it is. i've included pictures of it below, so if anyone has this piercing or is a piercer themselves and knows what it is/how to make it go away, i would really appreciate your help. http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=25islew&s=4 http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=jhshet&s=4 thanks.
Would it be better to get my tongue piercing and tongue web piercing done at the same time so they can heal together?
If this were twenty years ago, I’d be fully supportive of having a tongue piercing, and even a little excited for you. However, I learned the hard way just how much damage it can do to your teeth. I’m not telling you not to do it. Just think about it really hard.Most piercing jewelry is made of metals - very, very strong metals - and if you bite down on it - even by accident - it can cause permanent damage to your teeth, or possibly even cause you to have a tooth pulled out completely.Remember - you only get one set of teeth.
TONGUE WEB PIERCING INFO / HELP!?
hi there i hope i am helpful here. i have my tongue web pierced too and what you are describing seems to match what i experienced during the first week or so. i also thought one side healed faster than the other so i guess that is normal. i am assuring you now it is no way infected so no need to fret about that. The whiteness beside the holes is also normal i had that aswell and still do on one side. Mine was sore only for a few days but only sore when i yarned which stretches your web, have a yawn and youll know what i mean by it stretching. as far as the balls continuously falling of i would suggest going to a piercer and asking them to tightem up for you with hemostats which will ensure they are tight trust me. when the piercer tightened mine with hemostats i had to go back to have them loosened i could no untighten them myself, balls wouldnt even budge haha. stay away from oral sex for atleast two weeks or it WILL get infected. i hid my web piercing from my parents for weeks until got caught with my tongue ring which was when mom notice my web too haha. if ur parents do see it just tell the to f*** off say to them " you cant physically make me take it out" and if u are off age they certainly can not make you. so yea stuff the parents and just be happy. ice is your best bet for pain relief if your are allergic not much other over counter pain killers besides ibuprofen, panadol etc. any good luck with the rest of your healing and if u hav any more question feel free to email me on monmonzrox95@hotmail.com and i will happily help ya out!!!! Tongue web piercing, healing or infection?
Blood doesn't have anything to do with infection. New piercings tend to swell, as well as itch. It sounds like you're just beginning to heal, and you're not yet used to having jewelry in your mouth. Keep up with your aftercare routine, and good luck with healing :)
Is it safe to do your own tongue web piercing?
i really want it done but my mum doesn't. If I already have t done I can hide it from her as it is under the tongue but I can't get it done without her consent so if I was to get a barbel and pierce it: what is the chance of it getting infected? What risks are there of doing this myself
