My Unread Mail Has Disappeared How Can I Retrieve It

Why are emails disappearing from my Gmail's inbox on my iPad?

This is a Gmail issue, not an IOS issue. As David Berman points out — you can set how long to keep email when you setup the account — but under IOS 10, you cannot change that setting. To change that setting via IOS, you need to delete the account from your ipad and then re-create it. Deleting the account from your iPad does not impact the actual Gmail account.

My emails disappear, then reappear in my inbox- with changes to my message?

I wrote an email to myself on aol, because I just made a new account and wanted to see if it was different or something than yahoo....

well, the message arrived in my inbox, and I clicked on it. Then, I went back to my inbox and the message was gone. A few seconds later, it reappeared in my inbox, but when I clicked on it, it had this
symbol "=0" after some of the lines, and some lines were highlighted in a different color.
Does this normally happen? What's up with this?

Why are emails disappearing from my Yahoo mail inbox?

I had several unread unread emails that I did not check for sometimes. But after that I have signed up, couple of hours later, I realized that I have lost more than 400 all unread emails. I have change several times my passwords and even my anti virus, but another time today I have lost 7 others unread messages. Both of times the trash was empty. Might be a hacker (who can enter inbox despite anti virus or this is a Yahoo's problem? Thank you for your help

Yahoo Mail Inbox Reads "1 Unread"?

If you have looked through all your emails, the last page for late arrivals and in folders and don't find any, then it's because Yahoo says this is a glitch and will clear on it's own. This has been happening to many of us in the classic mail while Yahoo has been upgrading the classic mail. It took a few days to clear but it did on it's own. Restarting the comp, refreshing the page, no tricks work, only time and Yahoo.

Why do e-mails sometimes disappear from my Gmail inbox?

Most often it is malware attachments that sneak in through the gmail filters. These arrive in your spam folder and are automatically deleted by gmail filters after 30 days.It is when you attempt to delete them yourself these attachments open open and embed in the registry. It is pretty hard to track them.Once in a while clean the history and all the cookies and this will help. Also reset the whole thing and this will help. It is a bit of work, I know but it is better to clean out all the garbage that collects and infects everything else.Put your email settings on high alert and junk mail wont get in. Watch those dating sites. They are a harassment and find ways to somehow hook into your system.Im not even sure if all of this will even help.I had the same problem on and off and just got fed up trying to keep the email folders clean and tidy. Unfortunately we cannot survive without email. Of all the email sites Gmail is one of the best. Had enough nonsense comes through Yahoo, Hotmail and all others.Cheers.

How do I find my unread mail in Yahoo?

Simple solution to finding unread emails is by clicking on 'view' and Sorting By Unread. No more steps than that.

Can't find unread email?

Just right-click the bar that says "inbox" and select "mark all as read" you won't find the email but at least if your like me and have a ton of emails but like to have them all accounted for you wont see that annoying "1" up there.

Hope that helps!

My inbox shows 1 unread email even though I have no unread emails. I am using Google chrome. I tried searching "is: unread in:anywhere," but this doesn't work. Could anyone tell me how to fix this?
