My Voice Keep On Cracking So .

Why does my voice keep cracking?

either your throat is dry and you need to drink more water or you are hoarse from screaming or yelling or singing with too much force. You may have also developed vocal nodes, which requires a visit to the ENT (ear, nose, throat) doctor. Smoking can also affect your voice in this way.
(i'm assuming you are not a boy since your name is daniela. If you are then it's puberty and there's nothing you can do except practice to gain a bit of control)

I'm A Girl & My Voice Keeps Cracking?

My daughter was 10 when her voice starting cracking and sounding hoarse. As an actor we went to have it checked out. They said she has polyps and they needed to be removed. Upon having a second opinion the dr said that her larynx looks like a 65 year old smoker with acid reflux. Needless to say she has appointments for an allergist (is she allergic to something that is making her voice do this) and a GI (stomach) Dr (does she indeed have acid reflux). Lastly she went through a few months of voice therapy and she can work through the problem. It actually helped a lot.
You might want to ask your parent to investigate a little and try going to a ENT doctor would be a start.
Good Luck

Why is my voice cracking at age 19?

Your voice will continue to change throughout your life. The first major changes are in adolescence, but other changes throughout your life either environmental or just maturation can affect your voice. Are you a singer, smoker, did you just move, do you have allergies? Those are the things that would easily affect your voice at any time. This doesn't alleviate that you might have some medical cause, which if you haven't had checked, then you should consider that as a potential need.

Why does my voice keep cracking? How can I prevent this from happening?

If you are a teen boy, this is a natural maturation phenomena and it will pass on its own, in due time. If you are an adult, it could justify talking to your family doctor about it and get the situation investigated to avoid the development of a more serious problem. One way to help your voice box strengthen and issue a regular tone of voice and regular output, you can use techniques used by opera or not singers, every day for ten to fifteen minutes. Vocalize without pushing your voice, from as low as you can to as high as you can, pitch, not power. Say tongue twisters slow and fast, work on your breathing. Have you every lost your breath after a sentence? Some people “forget” to breathe when they get excited and want to tell a story to someone. Lay on your back and sing A U EE O U, for example, deep breath, hands on your belly to feel your deep breathing between each round. You can find many techniques on youtube from professionals voice trainers which you can use. Work your voice daily, even for a few minutes - the shower is a food place, if you do not live alone… :)so, first, check with your doctor, then, work your voice, your breathing, and also your food, drinks and smoking habits. Smoking could be one to let go if you do not want to damage your voice with time in a more unpleasant way.

Why does my voice keep cracking even if I'm an adult?

There could be several reasons. Here are a couple. It could be your hydration level. If you don't have enough hydration your voice will crack much more easily than it does when it has lots of hydration. It could also be that your vocal cords are not developed enough. What you can do, if you're trying to sing- is you may sing in tones that are below your cracking pitch and sing those tones for a year or so. Then start reaching up another half step and another half step. You need to sing,in my personal experience, three days in a row each week for a half hour to an hour without belting. Just sing. Now, on the third day before you start a four-day rest, you want to try to sing a little harder. Belt a couple times start trying to reach out to that pitch that you crack at. Get your voice to be a little bit worn out, but not too much and then rest for 4 days. Do that every week for about a year. You will develop your muscles in a couple years. It is hard to do and it takes a lot of time. Be patient and be consistent. You'll get there.
