My Whole Head Hurts Really Bad

I put rubbing alcohol in my ears & it really hurts?

You shouldn't POUR"anything down your ears.
Alcohol is an astrigent and anticeptic, but can burn and dry out sensitive areas. Too, a Q-tip carefully rubbed inside the ear can help to loosen and remove excess "wax" buildup. This MUST be done CAREFULLY as too deep, it could perforate the ear drum itself, or" drive" wax farther into the ear canal.
I would suggest you see an ear specialist. Good luck. Peace..

Avatar I, I note that you were ALREADY having trouble with your hearing PRIOR to this additional pain and "pressure" (after the Q-tip and alcohol). Obviously, there was a PRE-Existing problem with your hearing. The "Q-tip/alcohol" stuff only added additional symptoms and made things WORSE.
I would again STRONGLY suggest you see an ear specialist and/or go to an ER first (to expedite an appointment, and get your ears checked out ). Time is NOT in your favor with the symptoms that you describe, and prolonged" ear infections" and other traumas to the ear have the potential to cause permanent problems INCLUDING hearing loss. "Listen" to me...see a Doctor. Good luck.

What do you do if your head hurts really bad and you’re just a kid doing math?

You’re probably nervous. That makes your muscles tighten up and your head hurt. If math makes you nervous, treat it like any sport that you have to learn to get better at. Find a tutor (ask your parents.) If you can’t get a tutor, get some workbooks at the level you are studying. (Or online math tutor programs.) Do the exercises that are EASIER at first and get adept at doing them. As you become better at your math, you can take on harder problems. When you have success under your belt, you will feel confident and won’t tense up. This is no different than basketball and practicing foul shots. The first ones go wild, but eventually you learn the motions that sink the foul shot more frequently.

My head hurts really bad when i cough..?

hey! I had similar symptoms to you a few months ago, and I thought it was a cold and would go away on its own. The pain in your head is caused by the congestion and pressure of your sinuses and/or your weakness of your body trying to fight off infection (this may also be why you feel like you have a fever but don't).

Does your inner nose feel swollen, or your throat? When I went to the doctor he told me my cold was no longer viral and was bacterial and he prescribed me antibiotics which cleared me up in 4-5days. As a general rule, yellow/white phlegm= a cold (no antibiotics needed), but dark green or red(bloody..) phlegm means a bacterial infection or something worse. You said your phlegm is green so you may have a bacterial infection that your body would need help fighting off (antibiotics)

Dizziness may be signs of the flu! You should get that checked out asap if you already didn't.

Feel better!

What do you do when your head hurts really bad?

Fortunately the only kind of headaches I have ever suffered from are due to sinusitis or a high fever.I have friends who suffers from acute migraine and one even from trigeminal neuralgia. I really don't know how they manage to keep up on their work life, family and kids while dealing with such pain. I admire their courage.Talking about my personal experience in headaches, one incident still flourishes in my memory. I was seven or eight and had a high fever. I remember feeling that my head would burst open. I lived with my grandparents and they had to attend some function. I was left in care of my neighbour. She is a very sweet lady and tried to tell me stories but I just couldn't listen to them for the pain. She took a bit of cloth, dipped it in cold water and started gently pressing on my forehead. She kept doing this for some time. Oh! The relief! In that moment I felt loved and cared. Eventhough my grandparents were the best in the world, I still felt unwanted as my parents didn't let me stay with them. When someone other than my own relatives showered such kindness on me, I found a hope again. I slept off and my fever was gone when I woke up. Feeling loved can do wonders even for physical illnesses.

Very tired, eyes hurt, bad headaches?

i always feel tired and sleeping all the time, my head hurts throughout the whole day really bad (mostly side of temples), my eyes hurt and i always feel like closing them and they feel very heavy. they also look really small which is weird because i have big eyes. they also look red sometimes. i feel like something isnt right almost dead. by 4pm i feel like i have to go to sleep. i drink plenty of water and eat good. i dont know what is going on. this has been going on for awhile. i dont have mono and blood came back fine. i did sorta get over a cold a couple weeks back. what is going on?

My head hurts all day, now. Why?

Aside from the fact that you should be asking a real doctor and not the Internet…It could be high blood pressure.  Trust me on this.  I went for months with headaches almost every single day, which I dismissed as sinus pressure, until I went to the dentist to have a wisdom tooth removed… and he took my blood pressure and called 911.  One trip to the emergency room later, and I found out that my blood pressure had peaked at 250 over 140 (“normal” blood pressure is about half that!) and could’ve had a stroke at any moment.  And I had been like that for months. So… yeah.  Get yourself a doctor’s appointment.  The longer you put it off, the more you’re putting yourself at risk.

Why does your head hurt when you get mad?

How old are you? Headaches are usually the result of inadequate fuel to the brain. All fuel for mammal cells is glucose, AKA blood sugar. Anger is interpreted as “danger” by the reptile brain that controls our survival reactions. When danger is sensed, survival hormones kick-in, that include increased blood pressure, arterial contraction in certain places and expansion in other places. The exact cause is hard to determine, but the effect is reduced oxygenated blood flow to areas of the brain that demand it.Age would be a factor as narrowed arteries are more common the older you get, as are “strokes”, unless you have a long history of exercising. When I stand up I can't see and my head hurts?

Sometimes when stand up, my vision goes completely black for around 10 seconds. When it happens my head hurts really bad and I feel like I am going to fall over. This happens almost everyday. A couple of times after standing up I have completely passed out. When I regain conciousness my whole body feels like its shaking and I don't remember falling down. I have tried standing up slower but that doesn't seem to help. Does anyone know why this is happening? By the way I am a teenager if that matters. Thanks for your answers!! :)

?????? My head only hurts in one SPOT?

My head has been hurting. Most of my headaches are my whole head or in a small spot for a short amount of time. This happens randomly and it's been going on for two days. What could this be?

*** Don't say "Go to the Dr." I just want to know what it may be and if it's serious enough to go to the Dr.***
