Why does my Youtube video show "0" views, when there have been 40?
YouTube "search results" only get updated every 6 hours (sometimes 12, 18 or 24 hours), thus there are 3 strange things that frequently happen in between updates: 1 -- your recently-uploaded video is "live" and "public" yet it still doesn't show up within search results -- even when you type in your username and full video title. 2 -- your recently-uploaded video is indeed there, but it is the "raw" filename which mysteriously appears alongside the thumbnail. 3 -- the "view count" shown in the search results is much less than the actual "view count" that is shown below the video when it's played. If you notice any of these peculiarities, things will usually correct or update themselves within 6, 12, 18 or 24 hours. Sometimes 48. (Holy cow!)
Youtube app history showing videos i never watched?
i have an iphone 4s with the youtube app [old version] ... i almost never use the app itself, usually i'll google something and the video will open up in the app. I haven't even watched anything for a while now, but I just happened to check the history and the 2nd video down was a nasty video that I have never watched and never would watch for that matter. It wasnt on any of the websites i've been on and is completely unrelated to anything i've ever looked up/at on my phone. Why the hell did this show up in my history? No one else has used my phone and i'm not even signed in so there is no account to even be hacked into. Wtf? Has this happened to anyone else before?
