Name A Magazine Aimed To Sports Bettors

Can I always win at sports betting?

What does it mean always win? Everyday? Each time you place a bet?Let me first tell you how you are not going to win.“Professional Tipsters”If they were so great at sports betting they would probably quietly do it themselves and not sell their services online.Matched and Arbitrage BettingMatched betting and arbitrage betting work in theory. But in practice they are very hard to implement, and even if they implemented the margins are so low that they’re not worth your time.SO WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?Below I will outline 2 techniques that do work.Value BettingValue betting occurs when the probability of a bet winning is greater than the probability reflected in the odds that a bookie provides. So when a bookie gives out odds of 1.65 for a home win, it means that they believe the probability of a home win to be 60%, (1/1.65). However, if the true probability is 70% then there’s value in that bet. In the long run a bettor will always profit by taking always taking bets that have value! That does not mean that you will profit each and every time that you make a bet. It means that you will profit in the long run! However, how does one calculate true probability and where these value bets be found?Hold on the answer is coming.Big DataBig data is at term for the enormous amounts of data collection that occurs daily. Machine leaning algorithms can utilize Big Data to make forecasts. In this case football data is used to predict the outcome of football matches. This relatively new field which is proving to be very effective has been gaining popularity in recent years. But how can a sports bettor get access to Big Data and machine leaning algorithms?SporitaRemember how I promised you answers? The answer is Sporita.Sporita is used the 2 techniques outlined above and generates football predictions that yield an average of ROI of 30%.It’s been tested and proven.Don’t believe me?You can check it out for your self right here!

How much money can I make self-publishing novels?

I didn't publish my books on Kindle, but here's my experience with self-publishing 2 books.I had and unfair advantage of being Apple blogger for several years when I published my first book. Both books are HOW-TOs for inexperienced Apple users who bought their first OS X machine. My first book was sold only online in a form of PDF for a about a year, when I decided I make enough to publish it as paperback. I partnered with a friend, but other than InDesign/cover help I did everything myself. My second book was a updated release of the first one. With it I decided to go full on digital. I published paperback as well, but digital editions have been a strong foundation to this business. I can quote numbers, but I published mu books in Polish and only for polish speaking market therefore it won't give you much of a reference point. But I was able to rent a place in Cracow, Poland for me and my girlfriend, bought a 2 year old car (BMW 5 series, so not the cheapest), and had a decent life standard. I also hired a software developer for year and a half to write an application for me.Nowadays I sold rights to those books to my wife's company and she is taking care of it. We still make a decent amount of money of off it. If you ever think about publishing a magazine instead of book, I run company called PressPad http://presspadapp.com now and we publish iPad Newsstand magazines.

If a trader makes 100–200% annual returns, then how is Warren Buffett the best investor in the world?

The three richest people who made their fortunes from investments are, from the Forbes 500 2017 list:Warren Buffett, $75.6 bn (#2)George Soros, $25.2 bn (#29)Carl Icahn, $16.6 bn (#55)Also listed is Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Alsaud, $18,7 bn (#45). But he had a head start (Saudi royal family) while Buffett, Soros and Icahn all started with nothing. Which is why I left him out.Buffett is an investor while Soros is a trader. So based purely on results Soros must be counted as the world’s greatest trader.Soros had a couple of years where he made 100% profits. But his average in his heyday (before he started his Open Society foundation) was around 27%. More than Buffett’s 20%.So you might be wondering why Buffett is richer than Soros. A number of reasons:Buffett started much earlier, when he was 20 or so. Soros started about 15 years later (they were both born in 1930). 15 extra years of compounding your money makes an enormous difference. In his early years, by the way, Buffett was making up to 50% annual returns! Investing, not trading.Buffett continues to be 100% focused purely on Berkshire Hathaway while Soros spends most of his time on other activities.Traders burn out. Soros burnt out several times, often hiring other people to manage his Quantum Fund (he started the fund in partnership with Jim Rogers). Trading, compared to Buffett-style investing, is a high stress activity. 5 years for a good trader is a rough average.Soros has a very complicated trading strategy, very different from most other traders. A major reason, I believe, why few other traders are on the Forbes 500 list.Another reason is tax. Soros’s Quantum Fund is incorporated in a tax haven (Americans can’t be investors). So Soros is compounding his money tax free.Trading profits are usually taxed at income tax rates, so even if you were making 100% a year you’d quickly be in the highest tax bracket.Which of course makes Buffett’s non-tax-free achievement even more impressive. In summary, if Soros couldn’t make 100% profits per year from trading, year in and year out, nobody can.By the way, I’ve written a book on the subject, The Winning Investment Habits of Warren Buffett & George Soros. which goes deep into the differences—and surprising similarities—between Buffett’s, Soros’s, and other successful investors’ and traders’ approaches to the markets. You can read excerpts here.
