The Clean: You're Getting Older. Oh you're getting older You're getting older And you don't know why And you don't know what to do Well you're getting older You're getting older And you tell yourself And you tell yourself it too So don't go out in the kitchen Or any other place Yeah don't go out in the open Or ever show your face So why don't you do yourself in? Yeah why don't you do yourself in? Oh you're getting older You're getting older And you don't know why And you don't know what to do Well you're getting older You're getting older And you tell yourself And you tell yourself it too So don't go out in the kitchen Or any other place So don't go out in the open Or ever show your face So why don't you do yourself in? What is the name of this song and author?
The song is All Star by Smashmouth. Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb In the shape of an "L" on her forehead Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming Back to the rule and I hit the ground running Didn't make sense not to live for fun Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb So much to do so much to see So what's wrong with taking the back streets You'll never know if you don't go You'll never shine if you don't glow Hey now you're an All Star get your game on, go play Hey now you're a Rock Star get the show on get paid And all that glitters is gold Only shooting stars break the mold It's a cool place and they say it gets colder You're bundled up now but wait 'til you get older But the meteor men beg to differ Judging by the hole in the satellite picture The ice we skate is getting pretty thin The waters getting warm so you might as well swim My world's on fire how about yours That's the way I like it and I never get bored Hey now you're an All Star get your game on, go play Hey now you're a Rock Star get the show on get paid And all that glitters is gold Only shooting stars break the mold Hey now you're an All Star get your game on, go play Hey now you're a Rock Star get the show on get paid And all that glitters is gold Only shooting stars break the mold Somebody once asked could I spare some change for gas I need to get myself away from this place I said yep what a concept I could use a little fuel myself And we could all use a little change Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming Back to the rule and I hit the ground running Didn't make sense not to live for fun Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb So much to do so much to see So what's wrong with taking the back streets You'll never know if you don't go You'll never shine if you don't glow Hey now you're an All Star get your game on, go play Hey now you're a Rock Star get the show on get paid And all that glitters is gold Only shooting stars break the mold Hope this helps. God bless =]

I work in a corporate environment and I would love to write country songs based on the most over used phrases in corporate America.Win-Win - Now that we’re finally apartTouchin Base - A song about infidelities and screwingThrow Him Under the Bus - About a guy (Tom) that tells his best friend’s (Wayne) wife that he (Wayne) is cheating so the guy (Tom) can sleep with the friend’s (Wayne) wife.Do More with Less - Getting older and and poorer every dayParadigm Shift - This one needs more flushing out, but I picture a blue collar guy working hard for an unfair bossman; not getting paid enough.Synergies -Imagine Conway Twitty in his permed hair turning this one into a balladSo many possibilities….
Whats the name of this song? and i saw my reflections ? it was in the movie jack frost?
Landslide by Fleetwood Mac I took my love and I took it down I climbed a mountain and I turned around And I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills 'Til the landslide brought it down Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides? Can I handle the seasons of my life? Mmm, mmm, I don't know Mmm, mmm... Well I've been 'fraid of changin' 'Cause I've built my life around you, But time makes you bolder, even children get older oh, I'm getting older too So... I've been 'fraid of changin' 'Cause I've built my life around you But time makes you bolder, even children get older I'm getting older too I'm getting older too Oh, Take my love, take it down Oh, you climb a mountain and you turn around And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills Well, the landslide'll bring it down Oh, and if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills The landslide will bring it down Oh, oh, the landslide will bring it down

What is your favorite song that will never get old?
Love will tear us apart is a personal favourite of mine that I think has aged really well because of Ian Curtis’s morose lyrics and how well they contrast and build upon the pop rock elements in the instrumentals I think just for the tone and atmosphere the song created and the fact it’s inspired bands like Coldplay, smashing pumpkins and muse to try and replicate that melancholic tone validates it as An Indy rock anthem. Stairway to heaven is another song that never gets old purely for the fact it’s 4 of the best musicians of all time playing their role to a t with each instrument getting its time to shine due to how the song slowly develops to focus on specific instruments at certain points, a lot of peaple praise jimmy paig’s guitar work and solo in the song but for me John bonhams drumming makes the song going from a soft and steady beat to a full on Keith moon style assault on the drum kit which completely changes the direction of the song from a slow and understated opening to full on hard rock, I think it’s a song every aspiring musician should know to be able to see how various instruments come together to make a song as a whole.
