Name On Qualification Certificate

Can I put this qualification after my name?

This is complicated so apologies in advance...

I have the qualification FdSc already, so I put that after my surname on official documents such as my CV.

What I want to know, is whether or not I can also put Bsc (Hons) after my name.

I started a BSc (Hons) course but had to withdraw from it half-way through as I had an operation which nearly killed me. I was in a coma, on life support - everything! So there was no way I could continue with the course. For about a year I was still quite poorly (even now, nearly 2 years on, I am not 100%)... So the university was not convinced if I was to come back, that I would be able to complete the course this time either...

They offered me a deal. They would let me do 1 module from the course over a year. If I pass, they let me on to do the rest of the course next year. I accepted their offer and passed the module.

Because they do not usually do this kind of thing, they had to classify what I was doing as a separate course in itself, instead of just a module from the first one.

THAT is why this confuses me!

I have completed a module from a different course that was classified as it's own course so that I could prove myself to them - but it's not actually a course. I received a certificate as well - as you would with a complete course to say I passed but again, this was just a module (though you do not receive a certificate for a module usually). Is it still classed as It's own course to everyone else apart from the university? Or would everyone else consider it just so that they could have me on file and it wouldn't conflict with the people on the real course?

I have asked at the university and student services and everyone has a different opinion. Thought I would see if anyone here knows! I would like to use it but I don't want to get into trouble if I am wrong to be using it.

I even asked a career advisor and she didn't have a clue!

Please do not tell me to go to Google or that you don't know. I am sick of the two people who troll my questions so I will be reporting anything like that as well as scam, spam and ad answers. Thank you in advance to everyone else.

How can I keep my academic qualification name that is different from birth certificate in citizenship?

you may face difficulty with these two separate names if in future you are been asked to provide both this documents, as in this situation you identity will be considered as two separate. So probably some places submitting affidavit confirming that both the names are of same person but most of the places they will not accept. So either you change your name in any of this one document, so that you do not face difficulty in future.

How should a person’s name appear on the certificates in an academic or professional qualification, full name or name with initials?

q: How should a person’s name appear on the certificates in an academic or professional qualification, full name or name with initials? Most commonly, people write out their first name and surname, and use the initial letter of the middle name, as: Donald J. Trump. Some people, however, go by their middle name rather than first name, in which case the middle name is spelled out and the first name is reduced to an initial, as: D. John Trump. In the case of Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese, and others from East Asia, they usually do not have a middle name, so they write out the full name. They have to make a decision about the order of the names. In China, Korea, and Japan, the surname goes first, then the given name, as: Mao Zedong (Mao is the surname, Zedong is the given name). When they come to America, they often (but not always) reverse the names, as Zedong Mao. It is their decision. There are also a few European Americans who have no middle name. In the Army, they used to make them insert the letters NA (meaning “Not Applicable”) as their middle initial. I don’t know if that is still the custom. But on certificates, they would write out their first and last names and ignore the missing middle name.Immigrants from Hispanic countries often have a middle name (older ones often have two middle names), and then they also have two last names (father’s last name and mother’s maiden name), as: Rosario Sixto Guido Rodríguez y Martínez (addressed as Mr. Rodríguez, since that’s the father’s surname). Sometimes they drop one or more of the names to make them more American-like. It is their decision. Some Native Americans have a common first and last name, with a tribal or familial middle name, such as John Little Bear Etsitty, and in that case, the entire name should be written out in full.

Can I put "CNA" after my name if I have gained a certificate for passing the course but have not yet taken the state exam?

I have my test date for the state exam and I don't know what to put as my job title on my resume. I don't think I am technically a "certified" nursing assistant, yet. But, I am trying to get my resume out so that by the time I take my test, I will already have applied a few places to shorten the hiring process. I know you can work as a CNA for up to 120 days after taking the class, before taking the state test. Does that count??

My name on the passport and academic certificates differ. Is that a problem?

My husband faced a similar situation when he moved to Europe over 40 years ago, with his "first" name appearing as, Md. or Mohd in some documents and Muhammad in others. The irony was that he actually went by his middle names (some people calling him one and others the other) and in his signature used only those 2 initials  before his last name. Despite all this he had no problem obtaining a passport and a visa, and enrolling in a PhD program. And years later, he had no problem moving to the USA and getting his academic credentials approved. So, I do not expect too much trouble for you. Depending on where you want to go, at some point someone may ask for an affidavit that you are one and the same person. This is easily done.P.S.In the USA my husband started signing his research using 3 initials and the last name. A complication arose when he found out that another scientist, in the same field, in another state, shared the exact same name and signed the exact same way, and their publication credits were getting confused. Eventually they met at a conference (where the namesake had been given his materials, including a name badge with the "wrong" city/state) and sorted it out among themselves, each chosing a different version of their name for future publications.
