Definitely Deepika Padukone. Not because she has delivered hit films but because she has performed way better than others. She did something as unconventional as Piku followed by an Imtiaz Ali Tamasha and ended the year with Bajirao Mastani. Not many bollywood heroines would consider doing a film like Piku. It is certain that Tamasha came to her because she's Imtiaz's favourite but Piku and Bajirao Mastani were her rewards for her previous performances. She was flawless when she portrayed Veronica in Cocktail. I guess that was the turning point of her career. When it comes to her contemporaries, PC did well actually she was too good as Kashi Bai but Quantico was not somethng she can be proud of. Shraddha, Alia and Kareena are not even in the race. The year belongs to Deepika Padukone.But if you consider someone out of the names you have mentioned in your query then I would say Radhika Apte too had a wonderful year. Starting with Badlapur , her role was small bt she made her presence felt very well. Badlapur was followed by yet another powerful appearance in Hunterrr. She did well in Manjhi, Kaun Kitne Paani Mein and X-The Past Is Present. She looked enchanting in Sujoy Ghosh's Ahalya which is a Bengali Short Film. He eyes, her attitude, her boldness. The only sad thing about her is she's already married. When it comes to acting, I need not say anything check all the films I just mentioned.

I don't know many famous actors/actresses that everyone knows, especially those from older movies. Sometimes I see someone on TV and I'll be like "Oh yeah, that person." but don't know the name. Other times people will mention an actor/actress and I'll know the name, but can't quite match it up with a face, so I either have to lie or look stupid by not knowing the actor/actress. This man.I’m not gonna say his name because the question said not to, but I adore this man.He is mostly known for his role as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.Why do I adore him? He was born and raised in England, London to be exact. He has a strong British accent that is very noticeable. Yet, when he plays Spider-Man, he speaks like a normal American would. This is a phenomenal performance on his part.Not only that but this man takes two previous Spider-Man franchises and tosses them out the window with his amazing performance. Not only does he nail the dorkiness of Peter Parker, but he nails the young, full of hope Spider-Man, a role in which two previous actors could not fulfill both.He has filmed so many scenes that are really emotional as Spider-Man.The first one is in Spider-Man: Homecoming, after he ditches the Homecoming dance to fight the Vulture and he gets trapped under a pile of cement. He doesn’t have his Stark-made suit. He has his own self-made puny suit. Yet, that’s all he needs. He manages to bring himself out of the rubble and rise up again.This man played Peter Parker so well in this performance. It almost makes you cry. You realize that this man may be a superhero, but he’s also a kid with a life and so much to live for.And then there’s THAT scene in Avengers: Infinity War. You all know what I’m talking about. “I don’t feel so good”.I ABSOLUTELY LOVE his performance in this scene. And he improvised it all. That’s what I like about him. He puts the emotion in to the character that is Peter Parker and he gives it his all. I am 100% convinced that this man IS Peter Parker.Marvel did an outstanding job casting him as the new and improved Spider-Man, and I 100% support him.
