In my opinion the best fashion brand is currently Fasheebo. I love their design, the quality of the garments, and the customer service in general. What does it take to start a fashion brand like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Armani, Burberry?
What personal skills do I need to accomplish bigger goals in this industry? I have alot of connections with alot fashion people. Any advice how I can boost the connections to make my brand bigger and more popular? I'm starting with smaller high quality products for men and women to research the market. Should I start with bigger products? (I have a big budget) (Haven't yet started sales) For now I have raised a big followers base(20k) on Instagram. What do you think of the name Ellery?
ELLERY GENDER: Masculine USAGE: English PRONOUNCED: EL-ə-ree I think it's terrible but at least you didn't trash the spelling trying to convince people it has somehow become feminine. Elbert,Eldon, Eli, Elias, Eleazar, Elijah, Elliot, Ellis, Elmer, Elmo, Elroy, Elton, Elvis, and Elwin all begin with El so do you think they're feminine too? I really loathe people hijacking masculine names to pretend the name is feminine just because it shares a few letters with a feminine name. If you feel compelled to assign a gender-ambiguous name to your poor daughter, at least stick it in the middle where it won't cause as much confusion and aggravation. You've never seen pain until a teacher accidentally puts a girl with a masculine name in the boys' bathroom line. I suggest you picture the child's future and have some compassion.
Why are people so obsessed with brand name clothing?
I don't know what kind of brands you are talking about for sure so I will just guess you are referring to Hollister, AE, Aeropostale, Abercrombie, etc. I am a teen myself (15yrs old) and I just buy their stuff because it is good quality, BUT I do try to buy things that do not have the name written all over it. Buy things that DO have the name all over it is cool also in my opinion, I think teens buy it because it openly shows what you can afford without you having to tell everyone where you go your shirt from they can just read it, yah know? It is sort of a undercover competition between teenagers everywhere. Buying certain brands can actually make you or break you. So if you can afford Abercrombie show it!. Girls: What do you consider "high end" brand names?
Gap is a little higher priced than what I like to pay for clothing, but I don't think of it as "high end" so maybe that's what she meant. Old Navy is pretty cheap and not that high end at all, but its better than Target or Walmart I guess. I like to buy my clothes at outlet stores like Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc. but if it has a brand logo on it I won't buy it because that's lame. I think Gucci, Dolce, etc. are high end. Juicy and Guess are kind of in the middle but still way more than I would pay for anything. No offense but why on earth do you have a tank top that is Dolce? It looks like you got it at Walmart anyways.
How much do you hate brand names?
I cannot stand brand names. EVERYONE wears them. And I especially cannot stand it when everyone wears them all at once. They look like barbie dolls in private school! Sheesh people, stop being so materialistic and try being creative and having a sense of style! I can't believe that people think that Hollister or Abercrombie are high fashion!! They are so ugly and lots of people wear it!! All it really is is a bunch of t-shirts or casual clothing with their name or logo stamped on it. Show some individuality! The worst combination I have ever seen is a 10 or 9 year old girl wearing blue tie-dye Juicy Couture sweats, light brown Ugg boots, a small plain brown Coach purse(the ugly brown one with the tacky C's all over it) and an Iphone!! How ridiculous is that?!?! I know that she must be super rich and she's probably thinking "Well, since I can afford it, I will get it," but why is everyone afraid of wearing something from Target or Old Navy? Target has some really nice stuff. Another really bad high fashion combination: athletic shorts, tshirts, and Uggs or gladiator sandals. Trends nowadays are just unbelievable. Sorry for the super long rant and I hope you somewhat agree. If you completely disagree, then don't bother posting anything at all. Cheers!
