Last name is Faith and he's about 6'1, black hair, dark brown eyes, tan, good looking, about 30. And if it helps he was a sister named Ella. I want something that's cute but mature.

It depends on the character itself.What gender is the character?Self-explanatory. Although it would be interesting for a female to receive a usually male name and vice-versa.What race is the character?Maybe the character has an asian name but doesn't live in their native country.In a fantasy story, maybe each race has a distinctive characteristic that let's you identify the name as that race.What time/era is the character in?A fantasy/fictional book may have more extravagant or unusual names rather than common ones today.How old is the character?Although adults were at one point kids, the names of adults in stories just sound so fitting because they're adults.Is the name actually a nickname?Some characters shorten their name.Some characters give themselves a totally different name because of something in their past.Maybe it's a codename, and you don't find out their actual name until the end or you don't find out at all.The list of names in this world is endless. You simply can't find a random name and be done with it. The name has to describe the character it's named for.
Can I have the same character with two names in a story?
You can do whatever you want with your book and your characters. Don't ever think, "My readers will be confused by this, so I shouldn't include it," as it will never help you to become a better writer. Sometimes the best books need to be read a couple times to be completely understood anyway. A character having two names is no big deal, especially if the story is told in first-person (even if it's not, it's not hard to put two and two together). It's not hard to remember, "Oh, this guy's name is actually Jack, but others know him as Pat." If that's your character's choice, stick with it, because that is your character's choice. Your readers should be smart enough to know that.
