Names That Remind You Of A Fat Person

Nicknames for a fat friend?

(I realize this isn't strictly "baby naming," but I'm sorry, there's no nicknames section. However, my friend is fat, like a baby, so I think this is acceptable.)

Nobody likes being called fat. So, to keep my fat friend happy, I like to come up with new nicknames for him. So far I've called him: butterball, fatso, chubster, tubby, Jabba the hut, jabba, the hut, lardass, oprah arms, the biggest loser, and dozens of other things that I'm forgetting. But anyway, as you can imagine, I'm always looking for new material.

I would greatly appreciate any help with new nicknames. The Guzzler would too, I imagine.

Many thanks!

Do you like rhyming girl names?

absolutely freakin' HATE rhyming names, esp for twins. drives me bonkers really. lol
i think it's only "cute" in theory and on babies.
it really doesnt remind me of anything in paticular, i just think it's silly and will not age well. babies grow up.

What does the name SHERRY make you think of?

Wow some very close minded and judgemental people here. As a matter of fact, MY name is Sherry Lee and I think it's adorable. I am neither fat nor trashy or a stripper as many of you have said. I am thin, fit and beautiful. Just goes to show, you can't judge a person by their name alone.

Fat people names?

I was watching a comedy video where these guys said that fat girls always have 'fat girl names' and one example they gave was Barbara. I asked my friend about it and she says that she thinks the name Beth is a fat girl name. What names do you associate with fat girls and/or guys? Not because they remind you of anyone, but just because they give you a mental image of someone obese?

What do you think of the name Fabian?

Fabian was an actor/singer back when. He never used a surname - - - like Cher - - - he was just Fabian. I've seen a couple of his old B&W movies. (I don't keep sociable hours.) I don't know if I could use it. There are several pronunciations of Fabian, but the actor/singer was like FAY-bee-un.

Do you hate the name Bob?

no as it is my real name

What do you think of this name?

Shea doesn't make me think of a fat kid!!!!!!!!!!!! It makes me think of a more slender child...Well anyways, yes, it sounds good with Riley. Would you say "Riley and Shea" or "Shea and Riley?''
I think some good middle names are Violet, Bailey, Ava, Elizabeth, Claire, Amanda, Kiara, Kyra, Blu, Nova, Kendall.

Any ghetto names

THIN

Any Asian name (like Lee, Chin etc.)

How can I stop hating fat people? I have a real problem with them. I am a few pounds overweight myself and far from perfect, but when I see obese people in the street I automatically hate them. If it affects their life, shouldn’t they want to change?

First, good for you for realizing that you need to get over this irrational hatred. It is at least a good starting point.I apologize if someone has already made this point, but you’re making a whole bunch of assumptions here in just one sentence in your question: “I don’t think everybody should be perfect Barbie and Ken dolls, but if you are so grossly overweight that it affects your life why wouldn’t you do something about it?”Assumption 1: They aren’t doing something about it.Gaining more than 50 pounds certainly doesn’t happen overnight. Taking that weight off doesn’t happen overnight either. You cannot tell, just by looking at someone who is that much overweight, whether or not they are doing something about it. For all you know, they were even more overweight, and how you are seeing them at this point in time represents a significant weight loss.Assumption 2: They are reasonably capable of doing something about it, by your definition of “doing something about it.”One of my significantly overweight friends has mobility issues. They aren’t from her weight. She smashed her kneecap and has a hinged replacement. She has to use a cane to get around, and a walker for longer distances. She can’t do a theme park without a wheelchair of some kind. This limits, at least to some degree, the amount of exercise she can get.She was also born with a particular health syndrome that makes it extremely difficult to lose weight. I won’t go into details, as they’re not mine to tell. But the best she can manage with this mix is to control her portions and not GAIN any more weight. It’s not a matter of character or self-control in this case so much as what is medically possible. Here’s a general thing to keep in mind, whether you’re looking at a person who is overweight or underweight: you don’t know their history, you don’t know their background, you don’t know how they got to be however they are, you don’t know how they feel about being however they are, you don’t know what they’re doing to change it.And from your statement about being maybe a few pounds overweight, you don’t know how hard it is to lose a significant amount of weight, even without a condition that makes it harder. It is not even remotely easy, and anything one does or tries has trade offs. That’s about all I can coherently manage at this hour. I hope it helps.
