Natural Psychedelic Trip

Is there any legal psychedelics in Australia?

I'm not sure what the legal status of these are in Australia but they're generally legal so you can check them yourself:

Morning Glory/Baby Woodrose Seeds - Cheap and easy to get hold of, but they're sometimes covered in poisons to stop people consuming them, hence you want to get them from somewhere that's selling them for the purpose of consumption (i.e. not in order to grow the plants) or perhaps somewhere that's playing the organic card. You can remove the shells I believe to make them less bitter, do some research - and be warned the brew you will make isn't easy to drink. I've tried Morning Glory and wasn't overly keen; it's strong stuff if taken in sufficient quantity. It's a psychedelic experience and there are many accounts of people enjoying it - check out erowid.

Mescaline - This is another psychedelic which you can find in cacti from garden centers, it is the main drug in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The san pedro is an example of a cactus containing mescaline. Again a little research will find all the information you need.

Datura - Most accounts say this one isn't much fun but different things work for different people so you may as well read up on them and see what you think.

DXM - This can be found in over the counter cough medicines, I hear this stuff is quite good. You may have to order them online to get the right stuff.

Opium - In the UK you can buy the poppy bulbs dried and if you soak soak them in water it makes a brew, which is once again very bitter. It isn't trippy but the feeling of absolute calm and warmth that engulfs you is very nice. Not what you asked for but worth a mention I think.

Most of the plants described on erowid are legal, and so are easy to get hold of online. There are also quite a few over the counter medicines that can be used recreationally; make sure read some of the experiences on Diphenhydramine (Nytol), some of the stories are absolutely insane.

What are some legal psychedelic natural drugs?

Get a San Pedro Cactus. It contains mescaline so it's similar to peyote but a lot of countries haven't banned it. Also, you can get some Morning Glory seeds which contain LSA, a chemical similar to LSD (but not as good)

Finally here is a list of plants that contain DMT, the world strongest psychedelic, and also the chemical that makes you dream.

Why aren’t humans naturally capable of psychedelic experiences?

Humans certainly are capable of having 'psychedelic' experiences without taking drugs. The various mystic traditions are chock full of techniques that will make you really, really high.  Visual and acoustic hallucinations. The experience of existing independent of your physical body.  etc, etc. etc.  For example, experiencing the world as newly created, where everything in it is magical, fascinating, and perfect.  And not as an idea or concept, but as a tangible physical visceral experience in which you are immersed.  And as others have referenced, spend a few weeks meditating in total darkness and your brain will manufacture its own DMT and I am told that you can see some pretty interesting stuff.Having 'psychedelic experiences' is virtually never the goal, and one is admonished not to get fixated on them or distracted by them.   Its not as easy as popping a pill, but its definitely do-able.

Why did God put psychedelics on this earth?

Just the natural ones like weed, magic muschrooms and one of the strongest ayahuasca. When people take these drugs, especially the latter, they always come to conclusions that contradict bible God. When you enter into a psychedelic trip you get certain realizations, like there is no seperation. God is each and every living thing and in return every living thing is God, that we are God experiencing itself on individual level and love is the ultimate truth. You never come to the conclusion that Jesus Christ is Lord and that we need to repent and believe on Him. Psychedelics causes thinking patterns simular to occult teachings (occult meaning hidden). They mostly help someone deal with their trauma's, bring them to the service and shed a new light upon them that helps you to overcome them. Most people who take these drugs end up following spiritual paths simular to that of the new age movement and want to achieve enlightenment and oneness with the universe. Why did God create these plants (especially when he said that everything he created, plants etc. are good in genesis) when they lead you away from Him? Why did God made it that we cannot trust what these plants are telling us? Does it have something to do with the book of enoch and the fallen angels giving knowledge to man but twisting it? That book does say that there was 1 particular fallen angel that would share the secrets of nature. Anyone? Preferably someone familiar with psychedelics and now walks with Christ

How do I know if my life isn't just one giant acid/LSD/psychedelic trip?

This is effectively an ancient question, though the phrasing of it has changed since the invention of acid. The Chinese philosopher Zhuang Zhou (c. 369 BC – c. 286 BC) once dreamed that he was a butterfly, and then observed:"Now I do not know whether it was then I dreamt I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man."The nub of the problem is that most of the time, we rely on our senses to determine what is real.  However, when we dream (or trip on acid, or hallucinate due to mental illnesses), we detect things with our senses that we would later doubt to be real.  At that point, most people would consider checking with other people what is real and what is not, something which I refer to as "Consensus reality".  But that is not reliable either, because how do you communicate with these people?  Using your senses, the very senses which we just realised could not be trusted.  Maybe I'm alone in the universe writing this, and every interaction I've ever had has been an hallucination. That leads to a classic thought experiment.  If I were a brain in a jar, with a series of electrodes wired up to all the nerves that leave the brain creating a false impression that my body is still functioning normally and an artificial world for me to experience, I would have no way of knowing that was the case.So essentially, you don't know, and can't know.  But funnily enough, most of the time reality seems to work in a reliable and predictable way, which is consistent when compared between people.  So it's safest to continue acting like the world is real.

Does psychedelic trip have a deep meaning as it's often said?

Psychedelia has no inherent meaning. Psychedelic drugs work because they have a degree of specificity for agonizing the serotonin receptors in the human brain (because they have very similar molecular structure). The more specificity the drug has for the receptor, the stronger and more dissociative the psychedelic trip will be. This is why different psychedelics provide different experiences. When a psychedelic drug agonizes the receptor, a place for serotonin binding is taken up. The more of the drug in your system, the less receptor sites available for serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter used to send chemical signals in various parts of the brain. When serotonin is blocked from binding, the external signals of sense perception are blocked and replaced by the strong agonizing power of the psychedelic drug. Since the signals the brain receives from the drug are not at all correlated with external reality, the phenomenological experience the mind creates no longer has a complete basis in the external world. When blocks in perception occur, the mind fills in the blanks. Any meaning perceived during the trip is not in the drug or its interaction with the neuro-chemical system but rather from the mind experiencing the trip. That being said, I believe psychedelics are perhaps the most important and interesting class of drugs, as they produce RADICAL changes in perception and the conscious state of the user. These drugs, I believe, can play a huge role in our understanding of how the brain produces consciousness. They may even be instrumental in solving the mind-body problem which has greatly troubled scientists and philosophers for centuries.

What are the different types of psychedelic experiences?

This question can be answered in various ways.First, if you want to break down the psychedelic experience by the class of psychoactive substance:Classic Hallucinogens (Tryptamines): These substances consist of compounds like LSD, psilocybin/psilocin (active alkaloids in magic mushrooms), and DMT. These substances are known as serotonergic psychedelics and bind to the 5-HT2a receptors. The experiences that these substances can elicit vary, but often includes strong sensory changes. Check out this video of Dr. Robin Carhart-Harris describe the effects of psilocybin.Phenethylamines — include substances like mescaline, MDA, MDMA, 2cb, and a bunch of other chemicals that Sasha Shulgin created. Some of these substances, such as MDMA can be classified as empathogens. MDMA can be a heart opening experience and produce feelings of connectedness and love. Check out more: Erowid Online Books : "PIHKAL" Mescaline on the other hand can have similar effects as the classic tryptamine substances.Physical, Sensory, & Cognitive: Psychedelics have a wide range of effects on the body, mind, and spirit. Check out this site for a more comprehensive list. Subjective effect indexTranspersonal: One common effect of a psychedelic experience is in the realm of the transpersonal. The word transpersonal breaks down to “beyond the self.” These types of experiences can include, but not limited to: Feeling connected with the universe, a feeling of oneness/interconnected, reliving of one’s biographical history as well as birth experiences, past life experiences, or reliving a life as an animal, plant, or any part of nature. Sometimes people can experience an out-of-body experience, dream-like states, communication with the natural world or spirits. These are just a few types of transpersonal experiences. The list can go on!Perinatal: Stanislav Grof highlights the importance of the birth experience. The perinatal theory is one of Grof’s major theories that has significant contributions to understanding the human psyche. In some of Grof’s texts, he reports his clinical experience working with psychedelics, and presents cases of individuals reliving significant birth trauma or experiences. These types of experiences are also very common during Holotropic Breathwork sessions.

What is the most powerful and extreme psychedelic substance known to man?

I would have to agree with most answers here with DMT.However, recently I have been hearing that 5-MeO-DMT is the most powerful. Some refer to DMT as the Spirit Molecule and 5-MeO-DMT is referred as the God Molecule. LSD is also extremely potent and powerful.Peter Addy, Ph.D., presented a talk at the Horizons: Perspectives on Psychedelics a few years ago about his research on salvia. He mentions that Salvia is the most potent naturally occurring psychedelic, with a threshold dose in the micrograms. He states that LSD is much more potent, but it is not naturally occurring. Salvia is a pretty strange experience and very powerful/potent.
