Really bad stomach pains after eating pizza?

You actually be lactose intolerant. I know you said you weren't, but a lot of lactose intolerant people can eat certain milk products and not others. Like I can eat pizza but yogurt and milk make me sick.

It may also be the grease as they are both fast food pizzas. Fatty foods going through your digestive track can really hurt. Were the pizzas within a few days or a week of each other?

Also, think of what was on the pizza. Most likely you had more than just cheese. Was there a similar topping, like sausage or peppers? Maybe that is what you are getting sick from.

You may also be allergic to the sauce, but that seems unlikely with it being two different pizzas and you being 14. However, some allergies can kick in later in life.

Talk to your doctor during your next visit, or make an appt. if it happens a third time. Until then, use some pain killers like Tylenol to make yourself comfortable. Use only the recommended amount.

Stomach pains and I feel like vomiting?

After some research, I found there's people like you. You're not alone! Right, anyways, your symptoms are nausea and stomach pains -

First of all make sure you aren't pregnant. The bloating could be wind (sorry, but it's possible). And the pains could be symptoms of nausea or constipation. I suggest you go to the doctors after taking a pregnancy test just to be sure. If you do actually throw up then the bloating should go down and you shouldn't be nauseous anymore.

Good luck solving it. :D xxx

I get stomach pains and nausea every morning and evening. I've had 4 doctor appointments without results. What other causes could this have?

I sip about a 1/4 tsp of children’s dye-free liquid benedryl for my nausea and stomach pain. I have gastritis, which is inflammation of my stomach. It’s inexpensive to try, and if it works, you’ll see improvement within 20 minutes. You can continue to take small sips, and still stay under the adult dose, until you get the most relief. By keeping doses super small, you don’t get the side effects from the benedryl, like sleepiness and dryness.Don’t wash it it down right away.If it works, you’re likely eating something causing an allergic reaction. For me, it’s paprika. But once I get the inflammation under control (which can take a couple of weeks), then I can eat it occasionally, if I follow or precede with benedryl. When it’s more severe, my stomach will swell shut, eject it’s contents in the process, and I’ll lay curled in the floor, feeling like a sword was run through my gut. It’s terrifying… it feels like my stomach is rupturing. Agony! When it gets that severe, it’s hard to even get the benedryl down. It only happens if I’m asleep and don’t realize it’s happening in time to drink the benedryl. After those attacks, I’ll have to chew half an Allegra twice a day, sip only a little water at first, and continue the benedryl. After a few days, it’s usually much better. It doesn’t hurt to try it. Try it 20 mins before you eat, and again after you’re finished. If it helps, will you let me know?

Why does my stomach get upset after eating Indian food?

Typically homemade Indian food may not be as deadly on the digestive system as food in restaurants. I presume you have your problem because you have been eating out once too often. You would have noticed the emphasis on eating curd with an Indian meal in the form of plain yoghurt or buttermilk - sweet or salted, raitas of pineapple/boondi or dumplings (pakori or dahi wada) in yoghurt sauce. There is a reason for this. Yoghurt contains good gut bacteria which aids digestion and soothes the irritation the spices in the food cause. You should take care to have some non-spicy form of yoghurt (dahi) with an Indian meal (north/east/west/south). One more thing Indians do after a meal is to eat some digestive like Aniseed (sonf) or betel nut (supari) or betel leaf (paan). This helps digestion, too. So that is one more thing you could do to settle your stomach.Of course, the best thing to do would be to eat sensibly and order food after checking with the waiter and having less spicy things on the menu. And, don't forget the yoghurt, paan and, if all else fails, a sachet of good old Eno in a glass of water!

Why does my stomach feel weird after eating yogurt?

It could be due to several things. It’s best to speak with your general practitioner for a correct diagnosis of the issue. Check the date on the yogurt you ate and make sure it wasn’t very expired, although a few days would not hurt, and if it was palatable it was probably not contaminated with bacteria. Do other dairy products make your stomach feel weird? If not, then you are probably not lactose intolerant and would know before becoming a full adult not to consume dairy. SO, I’m assuming that’s not the issue.Yogurt contains probiotics which change the bacteria strains in your stomach and digestive tract. It is very normal for probiotics to upset this balance before the beneficial side effects kick in. You may experience diarrhea, bloating, stomach cramps, gurgling, and it all be normal. If it’s not because you are sick- it will go away the longer you consume probiotics on a daily basis. There are many health benefits of sticking with the side effects for a week or maybe two, but consult your doctor if it’s interfering with your life, or last longer than 5 days.

Why do I always get nausea after eating salad?

A question with a surprisingly interesting answer. Every time you eat any green plant it reacts with our stomach acid to release quantities of nitric oxide.Nitric oxide has always been considered a deadly poison, and it is, but quite recently it was discovered that not only is it produced in our stomachs, it is also involved in almost every step in our metabolism. Now when you eat a green plant (or your pet dog or cat chews on some grass) the resulting nitric oxide will kill any bacteria in your stomach, which can be a good thing. It is also a vasodilator, so your blood flow will increase, helping the oxygen get around your body to where it's needed -- another good thing. On the downside, one of the common effects of nitric oxide is -- you guessed it -- nausea. I stopped putting iceberg lettuce in my cheese and tomato toasties because it gave me a gut ache. The only other interesting thing I know about nitric oxide is the recent discovery that we produce it in our sinuses -- to everyone's astonishment -- so every breath we take includes a little of this gas to help keep our blood vessels open, unless of course we have a cold.
