Nba 2k14 Xbox 360 Challenges

Few questions about NBA 2K14 for XBOX 360?

Its pretty much the same as 2k13, no cutscenes and stuff like that :(
But what i really like is that they added a feature where u can have rivals who challenge. Once Kelly Olynyk said i wouldn't score more than 30 points against the Celtics. When i did, i got 200 VC which is actually a lot, and since it was a key game, I got 400 for it, so in total i got like 1300 VC.
I really like mycareer, they added small things that make it really fun. I recommend playing with 12 minute quarters, you get a lot more VC.

Why can't I turn off injuries in NBA 2K14?

Just started playing in Assoc. mode on Xbox360, and the injury switch is not working. Have it set to "off", but players are still getting injured. Changing the injury sliders doesn't seem to help. Surprised this is a problem so late in the year because it is a big issue, at least for me. Am I doing something wrong? Will this be fixed? Is there a work-around to get it to working?

I spent the last 4 months creating realistic draft classes for 2014-2017, and I hoped to enjoy using them until 15 came out. This injury issue messes everything up. I can't find any decent answers on any of the usual forums, though I see that I am not the only person with this issue. Any guidance would be appreciated.

BTW, my gamer tag is "likesushi," if you're interested at taking a look at my draft classes.

Thank you.

Does playing games damage computers and laptops?

Not directly… but it might damage your ‘laptops’ on some levels…When it comes to PCs, they are large systems with sufficient air flow. As all the main components inside a computer are made of semi conductors, the one issue which affects everyone is overheating. Gaming is not just a software program, it utilizes your CPU and GPU more than all other intensive applications. While gaming, the core temperature of your CPU and GPU reaches to it’s maximum. Overheating of computer components is not an unusual thing, but overheating means that both the CPU and GPU is pulling lot of power to run the games which will not affect the PC at that instant, but in the long run the life of the CPU and GPU will be reduced. All the motherboards has an alert system which will turn off your computer when the CPU reaches it’s dangerous maximum. There is also a thing called as thermal throttling where the clock speeds of the CPU or GPU will be reduced by themselves to reduce overheating, but this affects the performance of your computer. When it comes to laptops, it is an even more serious issue. Laptops are portable devices with poor air flow. Laptops are not big machines with sufficient space for cool air to circulate around the components to cool them off. Due to the poor airflow conditions, it is not recommended to run AAA titles on a poorly constructed laptop for a long time. From my personal experience I had a bitter incident 3 years ago, I had a VAIO laptop in which I was playing Farcry 4 at high graphics mode. Everything was going good. The game is running perfectly and I felt nothing suspicious, but after an hour of gaming I felt that the sides of the laptop was overheating like a frying pan. I never faced that kind of overheating, but I didn’t care enough about it which fried my Motherboard after a few minutes. I had to spend ₹13000 to replace it. So if you have a laptop with poor airflow then get a good cooling pad to keep it cool.— it assistors

What games can I run on an Nvidia GeForce 920m?

Depends what you mean by gaming, playing LoL or counterstrike in 720p then yes, playing battlefield or CoD advanced warfare in 1080p30fps minimum then most definitely no. With gaming in mind you never buy a laptop, laptops start throttling after an hour or so of heavy use. To explain better, due to increased heat output from the device components and since a laptop has tiny fans (even a huge fan under it on those expensive stands is not good enough ) the motherboard will decrease the frequency the componets run at to keep them in good condition for longer times or save them from burning out in an instant if you're unlucky. Soo... listen to the rest of the answers below as well since all of them contain good tips to find what you need.

As of September 2014, what are some of the best games you would suggest for the PS3?

I would not suggest you any new games coming out as new console would provide much better graphics and playing them on less powerful system would not be a good choice. So i would recommend :The Last of Us : As every body who have played the game will suggest. Awesome single player campaign. A lot of tension. Great characters that you will remember.Intense MP.Uncharted 2 : its been already hailed as best game og the trilogy and as you have played UC3, its time to pick up this one. I am halfway through the game and already been impressed with the pace of the single player. Ni no kuni :It's and RPG with 2D graphical style. It looks like a kids game with first look but its not at all like that. The story and game-play are brilliant . It comes from a great Japanese studio so the animation and production are top notch. At first game was quite slow but when my character was around level 6-7 , it was picking up pace. I liked the story and will keep you hooked for more. It has turn based combat which i did not like at first and though how hard can it be and i'll never loose but soon you will realize the depth of the combat and would be surprised how engaging that could be.Demon Sould :I love fantasy, but i love action games to. I like the combat from any action game but they lack the depth (generally). Demon soul offers you a dark fantasy world RPG and tight combat mechanics, plus the unforgiving challenge. Its not the kind of game where you can just sit back and let the game do the thing for you.  You will have to do evrything, you will have to figure out everything. By yourself. The game wont held you hand anywhere. But off the joy you get after figuring out how to defeat an enemy who has been up  your  ass for last one hour, its just undeniably good. You will die, A LOT. but each death will teach you something. It will make you stronger.Dark Soul :Whatever there is to say about Demon soul holds true for Dark Soul, Story is a bit different but  basically same game, with new challenges to overcome. So yey. (Dark soul 2 is also out. BloodBorn will be out for PS4 soon, and that seals the deal for me to get a PS4 ;) )others : Some of other games i really liked- Batman : Arkhm Asylum '- Batman : Arkhm City- Infamous 1 & 2- Metal gear solid Series (wishlist )- Just cause 2That's about it. Enjoy.
