Need A New Turn Based Game Similar To Lotr The Third Age On Ps2.

Who is the most famous superhero (the one who gets the most movies, comics and animated shows)?

Spider-Man. Boom. Done.Ok ok, I’ll give you more.Batman moviesBatman (1989)Batman Returns (1992)Batman Forever (1995)Batman & Robin (1997)Batman Begins (2005)The Dark Knight (2008)The Dark Knight Rises (2012)Superman MoviesSuperman (1978)Superman II (1980)Superman III (1983)Superman IV (1987)Superman Returns (2006)Man of Steel (2013)Plus, of course, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.Spider-Man moviesSpider-Man (2002)Spider-Man 2 (2004)Spider-Man 3 (2007)The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)Plus, of course, his appearance in Civil War.So we’ve got 7 solo Batman movies, 6 solo Superman movies, and 6 solo Spider-Man movies. That’s fairly even isn’t it. It is, unless you count recent. If you count from 2000 onwards you get a different counting. You get 3 Batman, 2 Superman and (still) 6 Spider-Man.Batman & Superman were the most well known superheroes. For the longest time it was Superman, Batman, and a far distant Spider-Man as third. But then Spider-Man came out in theaters. Introducing him to millions more people. He was already growing in popularity.Growing up I read The Amazing Spider-Man, Spectacular Spider-Man, Web of Spider-Man, & (later on) Spider-Man. There was also Marvel Team-Up and he guest starred in other comics almost constantly. He was such a popular character that when Marvel stopped printing the UPC symbol on the front for DM comics they used his picture for a while. Granted, there has always been numerous Batman and/or Superman titles as well. This paragraph is only an addendum about the growing popularity of Spider-Man.The final proof is in merchandise sales. Spider-Man sells more merchandise than Batman & Superman combined. According to The Licensing Letter Superman’s global retail sales are about $277 Million, Batman’s is a respectable $494 Million. Combined together that’s about $781 Million, which is an absolute shit ton of money. Spider-Man though? Sorry DC, Spider-Man sells appx $1.3 Billion in merchandising[1]. That is one hell of a lead.Superman & Batman are both very popular and very well known. Once upon a time they were clearly the most well known super-heroes. Spider-Man has usurped them though. Between comics, cartoons, movies, & merchandising I am fairly certain that Spider-Man is easily the most famous of them all.Footnotes[1] Which Superhero Earns $1.3 Billion a Year?

Are there any good offline multiplayer role-playing video games?

So… offline and multiplayer are essentially opposites. You could mean split-screen, you could mean LAN games. Either way, both types don’t offer the things you’re looking for.Los Santos in gameg, there are literally tons of games. For a more modern, realistic role-playing experience, I recommend GTA Online, a third and first person, open-world shooter. (GTA V in stores). GTA Online essentially places your character (you can customize sex, appearance, clothing, makeup, tattoos, etc.) into the fictional world of San Andreas, a heavily satirized version of California and Los Angeles. In GTA Online, your main objective is whatever you want, really. Most players typically engage in the various illicit activities available to gain monetary status. Cash is king in Los Santos, and the more you have, the more you can afford. This includes luxury apartments, penthouses, sports cars, yachts, helicopters, planes, nicer clothes, etc. You can join private lobbies with your friends so no one bothers you, as well. There’s a reason GTAO is immensely popular, and I highly recommend it.

What older video games would you like to see receive a reboot?

Full Spectrum WarriorA squad real-time tactic shooter. With the right engine to modernize the rts.Need for Speed: Pro StreetNot so old, but offers a lot. But not that much and that's the problem. A re-skin + expand the car catalog + a better customizable performance per car and some features from Shift and DiRT and EA can have my money any day. Not the crap they sell today. ProStreet graphic are still cool, you have 100% freedom customizing your visuals. Need for Speed 2015 is the biggest nonsense game ever.S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of ChernobylMan…oh man. The greatest PC post-apocalyptic survival and classic remade with today's graphics. Fallout? What is that? Stalker games are just hard.SWAT 4A remake and will be instantly against Rainbow Six: Siege. And because we need more games like Siege to end the CoD and Battlefield empire. SWAT 4 will be great with today's tech. The Lord of the Rings trilogyI'll instantly buy this if it happens. The co-op in this game is just amazing + replay value. An engine similar to Bloodborne or Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (wich is basically a LotR story) yep. Insta-buy.And Diablo IIThis is something we keep hearing about but we're not sure if will happen. However, if, just if happen… I hope Blizzard don't screw the game consolizing it like Diablo III. Learn from your mistake and stay on PC Blizzard! We have Path of Exile just in case, a modern Diablo II in a lot of ways.

Why do people like to change their gender in video games?

This question probably has enough answers by this point that it really doesn’t need my input, but by that same token, I think this thread could use the perspective of a wlw (or another wlw, as the case may be; I couldn’t bring myself to dig that deep). As someone who is attracted to women, it is bizarre and verging on incomprehensible to me how many men have answered this with “I just want to stare at an animated woman’s butt lol”. I suppose even in a fictional setting with a fake animated woman, I find it uncomfortable to blatantly objectify another woman like that; it also seems rather boring to me, as many games develop their environments well enough to give you something else to look at.When I play as a woman, it is because I want the hero of the story I am experiencing to be a woman. A prime example of this is Dragon Age 2; it has always felt somehow wrong to me that my Hawke be male-identified. For me, the Champion of Kirkwall, struggling hero of the oppressed and downtrodden, will always be a woman. The same goes for the Mass Effect trilogy: Shepard, hero of the galaxy? A woman, of course. It simply feels right for me to live out a tale of heroism in the shoes of a woman — to tell the stories that hardly ever get told. That said, the fraught nature of my relationship with gender has often meant living out these same stories in the shoes of a man (this relates strictly to games in which the player is given a choice). While I may prefer the narrative of the leading lady, I don’t love the pressure of it — of being upheld to the same standards of womanhood I experience in every day life in a fictional world.Playing as a little animated man — often as a little animated man whose appearance I get to play around with in character creators — I feel absolutely no pressure to perform femininity; instead, I can let the character I’m playing as be an unadulterated extension of myself. That’s why I like to change my gender when I’m playing video games, although I do hope one day games with different gender options will offer something outside the binary.

Picking an RPG Help PS3?

looking for a game for a ps3 or even psp that is mainly rpg or even jrpg.

Just after completing dark souls and now im exhausted and need something slow with leveling and upgrades and will last a long time. I loved dragon age 1 and skyrim but have never tried final fantasies or turn based combat games which i would now consider as long as it contains similar elements to dragon age - create a character , leveling , loot!

OFF TOPIC : I did buy a game a while back call lord of the rings the third age and immediately traded it in beacause of the combat but now would reconsider. A game like that but possibly on the psp if there is any and also what is final fantasy like compared to western rpgs
