What is 2/3 of 150? Please help!!!?

To find out 2/3s of 150 you just do 150 divided by three to get 50 and then multiply it by 2 to equal 100.

Hi, I need help figuring out one of the answers. Anyone know how the Textbook Answer get the answer for 2nd blank? Please help, thanks in advance.

Question:
In a group of 10 batteries, 3 are dead. You choose 2 batteries at random.
a) Create a probability model for the number of good batteries you got.

So far, my model is like this:
Number good | Probability
0 | 0.067
1 |
2 | 0.467

For 0 good, to get the probability is by (3/10)*(2/9) = 0.067
For 2 goods, to get the probability is by (7/10)*(6/9) = 0.467
I don't know how to get 1 good probability. Can anyone show me how to get 1 good probability? Or.. explain why the answer book says for 1 good, the probability is 0.467?

you find out how many of each different thing you have
so 3 shirts, 2 belts, and 2 shorts
to find the different outfits possible you simply multiply those numbers (the numbers of each of the different choices)
3x2x2=12 different outfits possible

2-
to do this first subtract 158cm from 340 to get brian's height
340-158=182
now that you have brian's height you can find mike's height by subtracting 8 from brian's height since brian is 8 cm taller than mike
182-8=174
since you have mikes height you can subtract mikes height from mike's and chris' height combined to get chris' height
340-174=166
Chris' height is 166 cm.

when i answer these questions i always do it visually
so when i do this |=1 tree
| -50- | -50- | -50- | -50- | -50- | -50- | -50- |
now add up the 50's and you get 350 ft. from the first to the last tree

Probability of drawing a white crayon = 4/12.

you have 3 red crayons out of a possible 11.
Probability of drawing a white crayon = 3/11.

If I got my ears pierced, can I take them out for 3-6 hours for work?

Im a guy and I thinking about getting my ears pierced. However, my work doesn't allow guys to have their ears pierced and makes you take them out. I go to work usually Wednesday-Saturday, for anywhere from 3-6 hours. Would it be ok if I take my earrings out that frequently or do you really need to leave them in 24/7 for that 6 week period?
