Do you agree with the quote, "If you aren't making someone else's life better, then you are wasting your time"?
Making someone else's life better isn't a necessity, its a choice you make for yourself. Yes, for yourself to feel better. As they say, “it adds more meaning to your life”. You definitely feel better when you donate a beggar on the street, don't you?Although, it isn't always about feeding a hungry, or visiting an orphanage, or helping a poor in need. Its true that one may not always have the means to offer their help in the form of material things. But, believe me or not, you're actually making a difference to people’s lives, just by doing as much as “breathing”. Or, to be precise, by being who you are.Every morning that you wake up, healthy and beaming, you make your parents’ feel better by only being safe and sound, wherever you are.Everyday when you spend time catching up with a friend, you're making their life better, by only listening to them ( trust me, some of them really need someone to talk to).Everytime when you open your laptop and study, you're investing in making the world a better place to live in, for your family in future.Everytime you like a video on YouTube, you make someone’s life better ;everytime you upvote an answer on Quora, you make someone’s life better, by being a cause of their happiness (and also money, in some cases). So, yes, unknowingly we're all doing it, everyday. Even if it is a very small gesture, it counts. Everything has a purpose,(even all the other planets which do not hold a sign of life) and you won't be existing if you don't make a difference.P. S. - Forgot to mention, even when you workout, you're dissipating energy to the universe, thus making it available in free form to be used in someway better.X D.

Need help finding Gaara quotes from Naruto?
"The corpse's bitter crimson tears flow and mingle with the endless sand, filling the chaos within me - and making me stronger." - episode 34. "Love?… Let me tell you what that word means to me… My father taught me secret shinobi skills, one after another. I was raised in isolation, spoiled and overprotected… at first I thought THAT was love… For the past six years… ever since I turned six… my father has been trying to assassinate me. I've lost count of how many attempts he's made… A presence that is too powerful becomes a presence that is feared… To my father, in his role as Kazekage, I was the village's most powerful weapon, but at the same time, I was a fearsome and dangerous object. So apparently, when I turned six, they determined that I was too great a liability." - episode 58. "I am a relic they want to get rid of, so why do I exist and live? In order to exist you need a purpose, to exist for no reason is the same as being dead… Then I came to the conclusion that I would love only myself and fight for only myself. If all other people exist to magnify that love, then there is no more a splendid universe than this one… My existence will not vanish." - episode 58. "I finally understand… I'm alone. I won't believe in anyone, or love anyone. I'm alone." - episode 77. "This is where it all starts for me. Starting with this small bond. I too want to become someone who is needed, instead of a weapon that is feared. And as the Kazekage of Sunagakure." - episode 183 of Shippuden. "I will work hard, because I want to become acknowledged by others. That's what I thought when I look at Naruto Uzumaki. Bonds with others… Up until now, I only known them as hate and murderous intent. But I wonder, what is that bond he longed for? Now I understand, even only a little. Pain, sadness… and joy. These feelings allow you to understand others." - can't find the episode.

Antigone: (Sophocles) I need help with deciphering what this quote means: Think: all men make mistakes, ....?
The Oedypus plays of which Antigone was a part were greek tragedies. For the greeks the term tragedy had a different meaning then it had for the Elizabethans or for us. Greek tragedy resulted from a fatal flaw in an otherwise heroic character-usually this resulted from 'hubris' a form of pride which made the person blind to his weakness or evil. By ignoring, or failing to correct the flaw, the character falls. In these plays it is predicted, at his birth, that Oedypus will murder his father and marry his mother. To prevent this the infant Oedypus is left on a mountain to die-where he is found and raised by shepherds. Eventually, he does as the sage had predicted and fails to make the connection (with which he is by now familiar.) He believes his father to be a shepherd. and remains blind to the fact his 'sin' has brought hard times to Thebes where he now rules as king-with his wife mother Jocasta. His crime is 'hubris'-a pride that blinds him to his flaww I hope this helps!!! C

QUOTE MEANING HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
sloth: laziness ornamentation: to embellish affectation: pretense to impress others i think there is a typo in the next bit BUT humour of a scholar: same kind of thing as affectation, means making a simplified judgement. i would guess it sort of means: spending too much time studying makes you lazy [or lazy towards other things] to use them too much for image is a pretense to impress others and to make judgement wholly by the rules of study/schooling means you don't make a well rounded judgement. don't hold me to it! just my ideas. you might like to look at the sight below and read page 23 which has the whole text that quote comes from.
Help with the meaning of this quote!! Urgent Please!!!?
You will always suffer the consequences of your actions. Some people would perhaps look at this with a view of karma, what goes around comes around.
