Need help- custom build gaming pc?

Sup guys so heres my first Attempt at building a custom gaming pc. My only questions are- 1. Will these parts " fit/work" with each other once its built? -2. Is there a better case i should get? -3. The graphics card i am getting is a evga nvidia gtx 560 ti 2gb and it requires PCIe 2.0 x16 so should i get another motherboard that only has one PCIe 2.0 x16 slot instead of Two 2.0 x16? -4. I dont over clock nor do i wish to, so would these parts be good for me? I am only planning on playing arma 2 ( at least on high- ultra settings with decent fps) will i get this performance with these specs? - my " soon to be custom gaming pc specs- ///// Graphics card- EVGA geforce nvidia gtx 560 TI 2gb //// Cpu- intel core i5 3570k 3.4 ghz LGA 1155 processor ///// Case- Corsair obsidian series 550d mid-tower atx computer case ( will i be fine with a mid tower or should i go for a full tower?)///// Power supply- Cooler master Extreme power 700 watts power supply//// Motherboard- gigabyte ga-z77x -d3h LGA 1155 z77 ATX motherboard ( like i said this motherboard has two PCIe 2.0 x16 should i just get a motherboard that has only one PCIe 2.0 x16? Btw the graphics card i am going to use EVGA geforce nvidia gtx 560 ti 2gb says it is a dual slot card that requires PCIe 2.0 x16, so i assume i only need a mother board with one PCIe 2.0 x16 right? I am a noob at this sorry) ///// Ram sticks- kingston hyperx DDR3 -1600 ( pc3- 12800) CL9 dual channel desktop memory kit ////// Hard drive ////// western digital Caviar black 1TB 7200 RPM sata 3.0 GB/ s 3.5" Internal hard drive- So is this a good build? Will this run arma 2 on ultra ? I also plan on playing world of warcraft again.. I quit 1 year ago... What should i fix from this build? Its my first time building a gaming pc. Also i am doing this on my phone so i am sorry if its sloppy/ is hard to read

Need help building a current gen Gaming Pc?

Hey there! So I'll be building a pc soon and I need help obviously. So my budget for the pc itself, not including mouse/keyboard/monitor, is going to be $1000. I'll be upgrading.
I want my MoBo and Cpu to be good enough so that I don't have to upgrade them later. Also I won't ever be doing any overclocking.
I need this rig to be dual sli/crossfire compatible. I'll eventually be upgrading this pc little by little later on. I'd prefer an intel processor and nvidia gpu however I'm open. Also prefer my hdd to be 7200 rpm+. I'll get an additional ssd later. And is 8 gigs of ram ideal for now?
I'd be cool with just one rig option but if there are varieties that's cool too. I just want a rig that can play any new gen game smoothly, doesn't have to be maxed out necessarily. That's why I'll upgrade later. Also if I could get options for parts I should upgrade later. God I hope I covered everything. If I didn't feel free to add on other stuff. Oh yeeah an after market cpu cooler. Also what kind of case should I get? I'm not picky on that but maybe a mid tower. Anything that I could fit the components in and keep cool. I don't mind going over my $1k budget by a couple hun if I NEED to. I won't go over 2k for my max budget of everything including monitor though.

Noob to PC building, need help on picking parts?

Yo, I want a PC that can run pretty much anything, and can stream anything.

My current build:

GPU: GTX 950

CPU: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor

Motherboard: MSI 760GM-P34 (FX) AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Power Supply: EVGA - 500W

---------------------------------------...

I got this PC prebuilt and just upgraded the GPU and power supply over time. It gets really hot when I play games and also sometimes shuts completely off out of nowhere. I am looking to finally get a new PC or maybe upgrade this one. Here is a PC I put together on pcpartpicker:

Is there anything wrong with it? Should I try saving up for these parts? Or should I just upgrade my current PC. Any advice would be appreciated.

Is there a place online where I can get help building a PC on a budget?

Who can help me with the PC build? I’m going to buy the parts myself. What is that static protect thingy?

Electrostatic wristbands. They are designed to prevent ESD (Electrostatic discharge). This occurs when static builds up, and is then suddenly released when you touch a certain object. In the case of computer components, this can be very damaging. In computer building, there are essentially two ways to solve this problem:Remove all static build up by connecting power supply to wall outlet and install in the case. Then connect the wrist strap to the power supply. Make sure the power supply switch is in the OFF position.Remove the difference in electrostatic potential. This method just involves connecting the wrist strap to the case, and making sure to keep all components (that are not connected to the case yet) with the same amount of static potential by touching them periodically. Both of these methods are more than adequate. Whichever one you choose is up to you.For any wondering why option two works, it is because ESD only occurs when there’s is a large enough difference in static potential. If you eliminate the difference, there can be no discharge.

I am looking to build a computer to run both Autocad and Revit to develop 3d renderings, I have a Macbook Pro, and they run terribly slow, I know about computers, but have not really built any. I need to know what i need, (case, processor, motherboard, etc.) I am also interested in water cooling, but I really have no clue what is good or bad.
