Ideas for my 18th birthday party && Party Bus Help!?

20th Birthday Ideas in Chicago?

Ok lets take these as you wrote them.
1. Sailing...what month are you celebrating?
2. Hot Air Balloon Ride..There is a place in Fox River Grove that does this. However you may want to check the "conditions" When you get a certificate for a balloon ride there are many conditions they place on the ride. I am not sure what company it was but a friend waited almost 3 years (yes I wrote 3 years) to take her ride. So do this with great caution.
3. Paint Balling.. Possible I am sure there are several places. May also want to consider laser tag. There are quite a few places that offer laser tag.
4. There are several cruises you can do Two are dinner cruises and I think they would be a great time. For discount coupons check out http://www.restaurant.com
5. Can't drink yet why a lounge. If you want a lounge and no drinking go hang out in one of the great downtown hotels in the lobby. doesn't sound like a great time to me.
6. Check out some of the massage schools and hair dressing academies both offer great discounts because the work is done by students. I recently had my hair cut and colored for $25.00. A massage done at Harper College was $40.00 I think.
7.Shopping..Go crazy and drive to Mall of America in Minnesota. If you can't do that I am sure you can find a few places in the area for a shopping day.
8. You getting a hotel may present a problem due to your age but other than that I get back to the month you will be celebrating...and you want to "chill" at the beach. There may be more chill to you than you want.
9. Just go to dinner..Hate to tell you there are NO places to dine in Chicago! Wow what type of food do you want? If you just want to get some ideas check http://www.restaurant.com and search the Chicago section and narrow it down by food type of price.
If you like Italian you might want to try The Italian Village. It is on Monroe and the restaurant on the second floor has tables set into alcoves for privacy and it sort of deadens noise if your group tends to get a bit roudy. But please be nice and polite wou still are in public. (Sorry I had to do the Mom thing)

What are some good birthday gift ideas for a mom?

Her contribution can not be compensated by any expensive gift. I can say this because I am a mother.I am going to recommend things which mostly women around me ignores and concentrates only on well being of her family members. I tell you they close their eyes on many sensitive issues and so compromises with their health and peace. So what can be a gift!!!It can beA complete body check up appointment.Test to check Calcium after age of 30 years.I guess it's called as Bone Density TestGood quality genital care kit.very few uses them. Ph must be balanced ma'am.Ultrasound Scan scheduled at regular interval and in case of any pain or irregular periods, I know they just don't care and don't Even share with anyone.Daughters can educate mothers about genital care and importance of not ignoring any kind of discharge lasting for more than expected days. It can cause infection.Comfortable mattress and footwearI am not telling that you are not taking care of her. It's just that she needs something else not what you might be planning to gift her!!It's just an ignorance and must be taken care of.Hope it helps! Thanks for your view :)

Help!! Need teen party ideas..on budget!?

You could string Christmas lights around the backyard (inexpensive because you probably already have them), and maybe a couple paper lanterns as well - those are super-cute, and also fairly inexpensive, I think.
As far as food goes, finger foods are a must, especially at an outdoor pool party. Mini hamburgers, pigs in a blanket, and potato skins are great, as well as some healthier options such as fruit and vegetable platters. At that age, don't underestimate how much healthy they can take. Depending on how mature they are, a lot of the girls will probably be staying away from the chips and pizza. So, salad is another good option, although maybe a little too messy and hard to eat at an outdoor bash.
Besides this, it sounds like you have a lot of great ideas, and your (daughter/ niece/ friend?) is in for a treat! Good luck!

p.s. Marshmallow fondant? Never heard of it, but it sounds awesome!

Good birthday ideas for a 19 year old girl?

So I'm trying to think of something fun for me and two of my girl friends to do for my 19th birthday. Nothing too extravagant, maybe a fun restaurant or spa day kind of thing in the San Diego area. Any ideas? Thanks:)

I am in need of some 29th birthday ideas. My girlfriend is turning 29 and I need some good present ideas.?

The 27 Dresses thing was a very clever idea! For twenty nine all I can think of is Twentynine Palms, California. http://www.ci.twentynine-palms.ca.us/ If that is anywhere near you, you could go there for a weekend getaway.

Or just get her a flip waffle maker for a gift, and be prepared to make her waffles with strawberries and whipped cream for a nice birthday brunch!

Birthday gift ideas for my 16 year old boyfriend...Help!?

No one here knows him as well as you do, so our suggestions will be very generic or what we would think a 16 y/o guy would like. What I will do is give you an idea of how to shop for him to get him a great present though.

What I have found that always works for me when buying gifts for friends, family or my significant other, is that I go out and wonder around a large box store or the mall. I just browse around and look at at stuff. I will eventually come across something that will either strike a significant chord with me or will remind me of the person that I am buying for. This will usually be one of those "great" gifts - and it doesn't have to cost all that much, because the significance behind it isn't the amount spent, but that it is something that really fits that person.

I'll give you a few examples of this happening. One of my friends complained about leaving her iPhone charger at home when she went out of town on business for a couple of days. I came across a fairly inexpensive external battery so that if it happened again, she would have a device that she could charge her phone with - which she really liked. Another creative gift was last year for my husband and my anniversary, I bought him stock in a steel company. This was significant because it was actually a dual anniversary - one year since we were legally married and eleven years since we first moved in together (we took a trip to Canada on our tenth anniversary were it was legal for us to marry). The traditional gift for the first year is paper (thus the stock certificate) and the traditional gift for the eleventh is steel (the industry of the company). See, I though of the person, of the specific occasion and picked up a gift that would not only be appreciated, but also show that I pay attention to them and that they do matter to me.

If you are still stuck without an idea, you could always go with an accessory for his iPhone. Like if he has a rough time with the earbuds, you can get him a better set, or you could go with an inexpensive metal iPhone case that you take and have a personalized message engraved on. Additionally, you may want to talk to his parents, as 16 is typically a significant birthday - and you can coordinate your gift with theirs if they are getting him something large.
