Thank YOU.

Where to get Speedo HR2G04 Heart Rate Monitor users manual?

If you don't know the direct web site of the company do a web site search, like Yahoo or Google and see if you can retrieve a copy.

What can I use heart rate monitor for?

What can I use heart rate monitor for? I have this (popular brand) fitness tracker with heart rate sensor that I use mostly for sleep monitoring but I don’t really work out much. Is there something not workout-related that I can use almost 24/7 heart rate data for? Sorry, the question is general but I really don’t know anything about it.If I understood your question correctly, your not asking about what to do with the heart rate monitor, you are asking about what to do with the data collected.Heart rates are variable in healthy people and respond to changes in physical activity and emotional state (arousal). If you see that correlation in your data, it would be an indicator that your heart is normally responsive.Because there are so many factors that can cause your heart rate to change, I don’t see any way to use that information to predict productivity or work/rest schedules.

I need to purchase a fitness band with heart rate monitor. What are the most reasonable options that are available in India?

There are many available. however they are just status symbols and do not help. Heart rates will be as they are going to be. during exercise this may again not be useful. Cardio modes and others are just to make an excercise professional Arnolds and many other hunks never use them. take the cue ad don't waste money. For all other reasons you can…. from apple or fitbit

How would you write the sound of a heart monitor?

The steady rhythm of the heart monitor's beeping pierced the silence of the hospital. Each time it echoed down the white halls was a reassurance that life was still here. It gave hope that a heart was still beating.

OR

The steady rise and fall of her chest. Her breathing came in short bursts and fell away for what seemed a moment too long for anyone to hold their breath.

OR

The heart monitor followed the steady beat inside her chest and called out in it's voice "She's still here." With every beat and every moment the lines dashed up and down on the screen, a life was hanging in the balance of that steady sound.

Oh goodness, I have no idea. But I just wrote a whole bunch of random stuff so if you like it GREAT, if not, oh well. Hope that helped a little bit.
Good luck with your writing!

Can fitness trackers which also are heart rate monitors be used to detect and inform users of heart attacks or cardiac arrests?

To do ECG diagnosis of a heart attack (myocardial infarction) you need a full ECG, not just a rhythm strip as monitored on such a device.  It would detect a cardiac arrest though, but then what?  The wearer will be unconscious since no blood is pumped to the brain when the heart stands still, and since there is no one around who understand the heart rhythm, of no use at all.  If someone collapses you (have someone) call 911 while starting resuscitation ASAP by only performing external cardiac massage at once, only do ventilation if a second person who can do it is around, leaving it to the EMTs to see if there was a shockable rhythm etc. lay people wouldn't know about anyway.  Those automated AEDs are pretty useful if available, they have build in software "intelligence" to know if they should deliver a shock.Even if the heart rhythm was tele-monitored centrally somewhere, how could the person monitoring the heart rhythm know where the person concerned is, and even if that was known dispatching help would take longer than the critical 3 minutes (after which the brain it "fried") so even if heart rhythm was revived the patient would be severely neurological brain damaged to brain dead so not effective either.  It only works if both the patient and the nurse doing the monitoring are on the same ward in the hospital.Since most cardiac arrests take place at home, a high risk cardiac patient (not a healthy but a overly concerned person) is best helped by having an AED at home, charged and ready to use, and having someone (ideally everybody) at home who has followed a course on cardiac resuscitation and AED use to apply it when the need arose, otherwise that would be a waste of money (>US$ 800,-).I would recommend as many people as possible do a First Aid and resuscitation course anyway.

Do I need a fitness tracker with heart rate monitor if I mostly walk or do calisthenics for exercise?

Believe me, I am no exercise physiologist or trainer, but different exercises are targeted for different results, such as strength, cardio, stretching, yoga, Pilates etc, etc, etc. Not all of them will elevate your heart rate, nor YOU know your targeted heart rate your heart needs to beat at to be beneficial. Core exercises and walking are great overall ways to work important muscle groups, help to work to strengthen your back, and provide overall body toning. If you are overweight or just starting out-your MD should tell you what you need to do the most. Personal trainers are nice, but expensive. Jogging or running are also popular exercises, but long term can be bad for your knees and legs. I would rather see my patients count their steps and go a little further, or on an increased incline, than worry or analyze a heart rate. I feel this is an advanced exercise modality not suited for everyone, especially because it is so easy to count your own pulse without those silly gadgets and it’s free!
