Need Help With Sign-in And No One Answers The Call Center Third Time And Help Over An Hour Each

Classroom management issues - Need help asap?

First, you should establish RULES and PROCEDURES. They are different. You should post them, make sure that each student has a copy and that their parents are aware of your class and school rules and procedures. Have them sign and date and return to you. Go over these daily for about two weeks. POST THEM. Make sure that you are firm and establish consequences. They need to be do-able. They need to be fair for all students and you should not play favorites.

I will discuss rules and then model the procedures for my students until they get it. One of the biggest problems was having them line up quietly and walk down the hall to the cafeteria. I would get drifers, people talking, and I continued to pull them from the line, demonstrate how they should respond until they got it. Believe me, after missing several minutes of their lunch hour because they had to have procedures modeled because they were not doing the right thing, and letters to their parents (because you know they are going home complain that they didn't get to eat lunch, blah, blah. blah). When I explain that I have rules and procedures that I insist upon and they have been advised and signed the agreement letter and I am still having problems with 'their' darling, you will get support from home.

Make sure your principal knows what kinds of disruptions you might be having. On my 8th grade team - we have worked out the disruptive students can first be sent to another class to remove them from the environment. If they get sent to me - it's no picnic. I have work set up on a table beside my desk (writing, reading, responding to questions, math, science - all kinds of work - not just busy work either.) When they know that's the consequence - they will honor their part of the commitment.

We also have ISS and students can be sent immediately when they are causing problems - we also have a demerit system, they are denied activities, dances, participation in other things they want.

Have students buy into the program that if you are allowed to get your concepts, skills, etc you will allow them some free time to talk, but only a little time.

Your students need to know you are serious and have their interest at heart. Give rewards when they actively participate

When all else fails - I have a whistle! (smile)

It could depend on what you are asking for.   Hard to say without knowing specifics.  Many of us have worked in customer service and have experience of unreasonable requests from customers that blame others for their mistakes or just did not know the stated policy.  I am not likely to transfer such a person to my manager to show that I can't do my job.  Maybe they just need to hire someone at each call center with authoritative voice.   The reps can transfer everyone to this guy to say no a second time.Really though... as I answered elsewhere, some large companies have graded your worth to them before you ever called and transfer you to specific queue based on that value.  Someone else may get fee reversed without issue.  Credit card companies definitely do this after you enter your account number.Perhaps the ball is in your court to escalate the issue by following documented grievance process, or BBB complaint, or state attorney general for gross negligence or consumer fraud.  Make a YouTube protest video

I REALLY NEED HELP. PLEASE HELP?

You can do this, Bryana - sounds like you are really ready. Okay to go to your doctor or community health center for help, they will refer you to a nutritionist. No charge at CHC, just fill out paperwork. But forget the pills-No Pills except maybe vitamins. If you mess up one day, just go back to your plan the next time you eat, no big deal, be kind to yourself.

I was heavy until I started cutting back on portions and eating only half of what I ate or drank before. Throw out the rest, give to a friend, whatever. Not In You-Not On You. Plus, I drank 1/2 to 1 glass of warm water (not cold) before every meal. Some people drink a glass of grapefruit juice before every meal. I changed everything I ate but not all at once. Start with the portions.

Second step was to eliminate processed and fried food of all kinds. This was harder. No fast food. Everything had to be fresh and without extra ingredients-sugar is added to everything. You will get used to the taste of real food. For frozen food I get Amy's organic stuff-black bean enchiladas are great. Chipolte is the only fast food because they have a salad and real beans/meat, pico adds flavor without heavy calories, skip the dressing or sour cream on things. Splurge on avocado, nuts when you crave something creamy, fat.

Third step was to cut way back on 'white' foods - bread, sugar - plus no sodas, not even diet. I buy 100% fruit/veggie juice and mix 50/50 with water. Avoid things that add calories without nutrition. I added a lot of fruit to my diet, too. Only white food I eat is plain yogurt. My breakfast is a plain yogurt/2 cups fresh fruit/1 tsp.wheat germ/1/4 cup juice Smoothie, made at home. I take a vitamin every day and feel great, have so much energy, not depressed. Start making food at home. Don't listen to anyone at school about pills or drastic diet plans, just make small changes a few at a time, you will start to see a difference in how your clothes fit. Ask a coach if you can help with a sport, be a manager for the team. You will be up and moving around, in the gym, involved in a sport and this will make you more active. Start Slow, Healthy is more important than size. Walk around that school like you are happy to be you-your attitude will become true. You have to make changes slowly so your heart can adjust. You can do this, good luck and enjoy high school, learn as much as you can, take classes that will help you get to college. .

Well, you can guess. But the boss won't appreciate that. Here is what you probably do know.1) You know how much or how many folks will be on the phones. 2) You also know how many hours you will be "open" to take calls. 3) You can take an educated guess as to how long the calls will take. Always guess higher, not lower. Now for the math:  Each person will work (minus breaks, lunch, meetings, etc)  say 7 hours. If you have 10 people on staff that is 70 hours of available time each day. If a call takes 5 minutes from start to finish then the very very very best you can do in any one day is answer 840 calls.  (70 hours X 60 minutes in an hour) / 5 (mins per call)Now consider these factors:1) Not all the calls come in exactly or evenly as you want them to. 2) Not all the staff work when you expect them to.3) You call times my be higher or lower than you thought. These factors and many more will only reduce the number of calls you can answer. Here is where you will need to guess as to the impact of those factors until you have some history. Each factor could impact you by 20%. So your number could be as low as 336 calls a day, if everything went "wrong"Some other tips: 1)Reduce your operating hours as much as you can. Spreading staff and calls over long hours hurts efficiency and its just harder to manage.2) Manage expectations. Always present a realistic or worse case scenario. Set expectations low.  No point in saying all will be well when you have limited insight. Hope this helped.   Some other tips/videos (like the one below) is on my Care for Customers YouTube channel.

We are here for our customers. But 5 minutes is a good amount to wait. I follow and train new driver with the following. When arriving at a door knock. Wait 20 seconds knock louderWait 30 seconds ring dorbellStill no response>Call number on ticketLeave a voicemail with who you areWait 60 seconds call back.People don't generally answer numbers they don't recognize. Leaving a voicemail with "Hi this is Anthony from Papa John's. I'm not sure you can hear the door but I'm at the address ______ with your order. I will call back once more before going to my next delivery or returning to the store" If still no answer at door or phone. Call the restaurant. See if the customer contacted the store and to let the manager know no one is home(incase they call)If the customer calls back>> verify address. And deliver pizza after other delivery your on. If they do not call you but contact the restaurant either while your out or after you return with the order. Hopefully the instore crew will apologize for the lateness and verify both number and address to learn why we couldn't reach the customer. Generally a miss connection is wrong info. Either old address or miss typed. {Always verify new customer info when taking orders...number and address!}Especially if it is a CSR error I will ask the customer if they want us to rush the current delivery or willing to wait for us to remake them a fresh pizza. And offer a cookie or soda for the inconvenience. *we are deliverimg to customers who are having a party or dealing with kids. They simply may not be paying attention to the door. Or the time. Thus why we remind our customers we got to them in under 35 minutes. :)** accurately quoted time can also reduce ~no one home~ issues. If your quoting 45-60 minutes and arrive in 20, a customer may have gone to the store be in another part of the home not listening for the door yet. If you quote 30-45 minutes and we take an hour or more....:/ customers may have given up or fallen asleep. Side note. ***when I'm delivering and really late {for whatever reason} I apologize and let the customer know they can Call the manager (name provided) if they have any issues with the quality of thier order. I train my drivers to do this as well.

I need help right away?

I am in alot of pain, I don't even know where to begin except for the fact that I have been diagnosed with Aspergers. All of my life people have treated me like **** and i continue to lash out in rage because of it and i am having a really difficult time putting it to rest. I am a very nice guy who wants to make friends and always has...and i know that most kids on the "autism spectrum" don't want that or are clueless about it. I hate being labeled with those misfits because they are so weird, yet i cannot find a place to fit in among normal people or kids my age. I recently graduated from High School and have already been through 5 jobs and when somebody wanted to offer "supported employment" i told them to go **** themselves because i didn't want or need the help. I am ******* sick and tired of being treated differently, I am fed up with being walked on,ignored or taken advantage of. I have had one Girlfriend in high school and even she made fun of me after we broke up(later on we started being friendly towards each other again). All the other Assholes in high school have the girls chasing after them, and i was given nothing but teasing and being called ugly. ( i was recently told i rank between 8 and 10 with how i look, but all those ******* whores don't pay any ******* attention?) And even when a girl started talking to me online, she wanted me to give her money-WTF? This doesn't nearly cover how much i have been through, I am just touching the surface. I need help and advice from anyone who is willing to give it please!! But if you've come here and read this and wanna insult me, you better go someplace else because you don't know what i am capable of doing at this point i don't trust anyone and wanna go out there and kick the ******* **** out of some innocent person so badly because thats how rough and ****** up my life has been. So please be sincere and thanks in advance for any help.

I need help managing stress!?

hey i am so sorry for what you are going through..your story reminds me of yours, i was having a lot of problems with my dad and i have also been with my boyfriend for three years. the stress was getting to me so much that i became physically sick and had frequent trips to the hospital which was not fun. i just learned to handle one day at a time and for so long i would bottle up what was bothering me and i found that when i let it out I felt so much better whether it was through writing or venting to my boyfriend. i sometimes would even write letter to the person or thing(as strange as it sounds) that was stressing me out and in the letter i would say how i feel..of course i would never send the letter but it was my personal way of relieving my stress. sometimes it also helps to get your mind off of things...i just dont like when people tell me that too much because there are some things you cant get your mind off. i hope that things get better for you and that it all works out
