Need Help With The Book

Need help with the book our town?

We learn everything about Joe Crowell, Jr. in one moment of time, through the narrator/stage manager. What happens to Joe and when reading it, how did you feel about that? How did the playwright want you to feel?

Death is a discordant beat among the celebration of beginnings of new life, in the beginning of this first act. Why does the playwright include it?

Do you think no scenery and pantomimed actionsthe paperboy throwing imaginary newspapers, an imaginary horse delivering imaginary milk bottles, the children pretending to eat breakfast, act, or distract, from the play? Why was the play written this way?

Why is there no inter-personal conflict in this story? (Hint: Wilder is not interested in directing us to observe in-depth personal stories.) What is he directing us to observe?

I need help finding a book title?

It's pretty old but I read it when I was younger. It's an Apple paperback book and it has a yellowish border type of deal. I can only remember that it was a fiction book based in the summer of the 1940s, and it was mainly about this girl with a mentally disabled sister or something. But the girl hung out with his other kid, who was also a girl but she was a troublemaker type of kid. They had a neighbor who had roses and the troublemaker girl would mess with them but they meant so much to him I think because of wife ? But the mentally disabled sister would hang out with him. And I know in the end the girl went to the troublemaker girl house to get her necklace back whom her father gave to her when she finally reached the double digits. That's mostly all i can remember , and I think one of them was named jean or jeanie ?? anyways, please help if you can ! Thanks !!!!

Need help with the book uncle toms cabin?

Miss Ophelia contrasts to the Southern way of life because she loves slaves and wants to teach them. She also protects them and hates to see them injured in any way. This is why she leaves Maria who is selfish money-hoarding person.

Mr. Adolph is just a higher in status and richer person. While Uncle Tom is respected and loved by all who know him, except people of higher status. Tom looks at the positive side of life and is very kind, while Mr. Adolph is negative, I think. Kind of forget who he is, but will be easy to do the rest.

Maria hates slaves and considers them lower than her and basically cares only about the well being of herself. Augustine is a compassionate person who loves slaves like cousin Ophelia. He just has a slight drinking and money problem that gets him killed.
