Need help with walmart application ASAP?
First, I am surprised that Wal-Mart is even interested in people who go to college. Secondly, I would try to see if there is a contact email or phone number on there since sometimes you can contact someone to answer your question, if not then I would just not put anything. I just got my Lone Star Card today. What grocery stores accepts Lone Star Card? Does Wal-Mart, Brookshire's, CVS and Walgreen accept Lone Start Card? I know Dollar General does because I saw their sign saying they do. Also, I tried applying for TANF but was not eligible because I don't have a minor child. Is there any way I can apply for gas or utility benefits? I wish I was eligible because I would like to also withdraw money in order to pay bills and gas.

You broke your phone, but you don't say whether you currently have a contract. If you do have a current contract, it doesn't end because you broke your phone. You still have to complete your contract by purchasing another phone, or you have to pay to get released from your contract, usually around $200 or so. It's a little hard to read your details without any punctuation, but I'll do my best. Walmart has contract phones and pre-paid phones. You can't buy a phone without a contract or pre-paid plan. Walmart has to activate the phone. Walmart is like any other phone vendor, no better and certainly less knowledgeable than other vendors. Which phone service you purchase depends on where you live, where you travel, and how the phone service is in those areas. I have to use Verizon because there are areas I frequently visit that have no coverage from any other service than from Verizon. Check the coverage maps for each service you are considering. The price depends on how many minutes you use. If you are using over 200 minutes a month, it may be cheaper to buy a contract than pre-paid, so consider your typical usage pattern. Boost has unlimited phone, text and Internet for $50 per month, so that might be an option to consider if you have Boost in your area. Metro PCS has a similar plan for $40 per month, but without the Internet. Also, most phone services have a discount for employees of major companies and their families, so see if there is a discount. As for transferring old numbers and pics, if your old phone is broken, it's not likely that Walmart will be able to help you, and if you have a different phone service from before, you may not be able to get anyone to do it for you. Unlimited texting is usually $10 per month extra on contracts, not sure if it's available on pre-paid. I think most carriers charge $1 per day for unlimited texting, but I haven't checked in awhile. Yes you can. Go online to walmartmoneycard.com and sign in. Then go to the "Add Funds" tab at the top of the page, and click direct deposit. A form will pop up, and go down and click enroll now. After you do that, a page will open that has a routing number for your card, and a Walmart reference number, which is basically the account number. I've used this many times, and it works fine.
Employee fell in walmart? Need your advice?
I was working as a cashier. Another employee placed a box of bags right behind me at the register.I was assisting a customer and backed up to help the customer and fell knees first on the floor. I fell so hard I could not move. After a few minutes of sitting there I could finally move. The customer went to customer service and got help. The employees came & called a manager. She stated he was upset. It took him awhile to come. (10 min)By that time I got up. I felt a knot on my knee..when the manager came he didn't want to file a report. The csm said I should go home if I felt pain. Due to swelling I went home. What should I do?
I need a Giant Teddy Bear ASAP does walmart or some store i can walk in sell them?
Hi, I've been searching online aaalllllllll day for the right teddy bear i am preferably looking for something around 40inches or more but they all seemed to be sooooo pricey online, i looked around yahoo answers and a lot of people recommend Toys R Us or Walmart, i havent exactly tried looking for something like this EVER and they dont seem to sell giant ones online so i was wondering if they sold them inside the stores or if anybody had any recommendations to some kind of store? i would prefer to walk in and buy one myself than ordering one if possible unless u know of a good website that ships to canada from California? I have checked my local Toys R Us and they didnt even have giant teddy bears looks like they went out... all they had was giant ponys and stuff but no bears, I went to my local walmart and they dont even sell em... I checked the Target store at the same mall and they didnt have any either... I called ALL the local floral/gift shops in the yellow pages... no luck.
Can Walmart print digital photos? Need an answer ASAP.?
I need to have two identical pictures to apply for my proof of citizenship from Canada. I was wondering if I take my digital camera to Wal Mart, will they be able to print the photos on it? It's a digital camera. If not, can they possibly take photos off of an iPhone 5s? Any help would be appreciated and I need to know ASAP
If an H-1B visa holder buys things from Walmart online and sells it on Amazon or craiglist, is it considered a business? Is it violating the H-1B visa?
The only way this could be quasi-legal is, if you set up a business entity in your home country and divert all your earnings to that entity, without collecting any profits in US. But in that case, you can not write off the cost of merchandise you purchase from Walmart as cost of merchandise stocks and in your home country, everything will be taxed as pure income more than likely. So, it will most probably a money losing endeavor for you.
If Walmart does not put you on the schedule for the next week, does that mean you are fired?
It can be, but with Walmart it provably isn’t. Walmart plays the hours game. Only so many hours are given to each department in a week to do whatever is needed to be done. Those hours need to be distributed to everyone within it. The few full time workers get priority of course then everyone fights for scraps. If it is your off season or if that department isn’t making that much money - there may not be enough to go around. In that case, you might get screwed.Now, my store started to schedule everyone as a cashier when that happened. You may have one or two shifts in toys then spend the rest of week as a cashier. That allowed money to flow into your hands, but it burdened you with the joys of cashing. Along with the decreased pay of a sales associate to go along with it. It wasn’t fair, but neither was the alternative. At least they had something for us. Mind you it was because they didn’t have enough cashiers, but oh well. It was something.As the others stated - there are always departments that need more help - like cashing. You can get hours. You just need to know where to look. Just don’t let them take advantage of you - never mind that’s already happened.
