Comparison Analysis of Gattaca and 1984

Summary: The film Gattaca and George Orwell's novel 1984 share many similarities yet they have a vast amount of differences. Although Gattaca and 1984 have both dystopian societies they aren't the same form of dystopia as the societies within them strive for a utopian lifestyle for their people their own way. The world of Gattaca tries to accomplish a utopia using genetic engineering as the totalitarian party of 1984 believes it can do this by having total supremacy and control over its people.

The film Gattaca and George Orwell's novel 1984 share many similarities yet they have a vast amount of differences. Gattaca is a futuristic science fiction film which has a dystopian society; it also addresses many other moral debates. The novel 1984 has a well divided social class system as does Gattaca, it is also a perspective of the future of 1984 from the time it was written, 1949. Both these worlds aren't as safe and assuring as the world we take for granted, yet both aren't farfetched to becoming the future of the modern world.
These texts have obvious dystopian societies within them. Andrew Niccol and George Orwell intentionally made it clear to the audience that their texts are full with dystopian characteristics. In Gattaca, this is evident due to two main reasons and they are, law.....

I need help writing an essay about a movie called Enough. How can I relate it to the social problem of today?

As with many battered women, the laws do not protect them and need changing. Women have to be constantly vigilante in our society and many women are forced to take self defense just to feel somewhat safe. That's a social problem.

I need help writing an academic prologue for pixar's movie cars? ASAP?

So. . .

You have to write a scene that takes place before the movie's opening scene. I'm not sure I understand what your teacher means by "academic" - a prologue is a prologue.

You could write the scene when Sally first arrives at Radiator Springs.

You could write the scene where Doc first arrives, and is hiding who he is.

You could write a scene that shows Lightning McQueen dealing with a selfish, self-absorbed Car - as a way to introduce the main theme, that being living unselfishly is the happiest way to live.

Academic? Not sure. . . honestly, I would ask your teacher what the difference between an academic and a nonacademic prologue is.

Minecraft movie script? I need help please..?

PLEASE READ THIS: Ok, so, I'm making a so called ,,movie,, about minecraft, but I'm stuck, I need help with the story line.
This is what I have so far:

You have two brothers: Steve and Herobrine, who are born in a village. They are almost ,,kicked out,, because they don't look like villagers, but they're mum convinces the to stay. The twins are good friends until Herobrine turns evil. This is where I'm stuck. I want to make a dramatic story like: Herobrine was bullied or loved less(but Steve doesn't know about this, he is a good brother) and Herobrine is left out, so he sneaks out of the village to meet his evil friends( the mobs) who act like they like him. No one knows about his friends, but he becomes distant. Though, Steve is the party type one. One time the do something bad, and are kicked out of the village. Then Herobrine leaves Steve.

I just need help with the part WHY Herobrine becomes evil. And who left him(not STEVE! He is a good brother). And if you have any suggestions please help me :))) ?

I've just started writing a movie script and I want to make sure I'm writing it properly, what are the best consultants to help with this?

I s’pose you have good software to prompt you along? Final Draft has a range of tools to structure the script in the standardised form. Only the standard is acceptable.I used several such software for my script. The best one is LightSpeedeps. It works well for me.The script itself is a visual representation of your views. Everything in the script must breakdown the word or whatever into visually adaptable dialogue or instructions that a producer/ director/cinematographer can capture on camera.“The camera is like an eye in the head of the Poet!”. Can’t be said better than that.Every action, word, dialogue, description, tone, texture, character, emotion, costume, movement, location, set and camera angle must be reproducible in cinematic form -from the script. The script must be between 100–120 pages. Less or more will kill it. In other words, nobody is going to bother reading it.You need to present only the skeletal structure of the story and allow other creatives flesh it out.You are the best consultant for your script. There cannot be a better one. You have a concept in mind and the camera is rolling in your head with all the actors, and extras playing their part. The best scriptwriter may never reproduce what you have in your head. Further still what you write in the script must be possible to produce. The more impossible the higher the cost of reproduction/production.If your script has its roots in a novel and the novel is 900 pages it must be boiled down into those 100–120 -3/4 sized pages! You want the crystallised core in the script. There are countless books to guide you and most say the same thing I say here.It took me all of 4 years to write the novel, publish it, translate it into 6 languages, turn it into a script and now get ready to turn it into a feature film. It was a gruelling task that was blessed with countless sleepless nights. Perfection and Paranoia seem to be the same thing! And I have not started production yet. There are 6 more books to walk down this road but the first one is always the hardest.Warning: Enjoy every moment of creating everything. Don’t ever give up. Keep going. You will get there. Thanks.Watching my movie: Beautiful Brushstrokes when it hits the screens in a year. You will be watching a slice of my soul.
