Need More Music Suggstions

I'm looking for new music, any suggestions?

Try this band, they're called Ashok and it was Florence Welsh's (lead singer in Florence + The Machine) old band. It's a bit different from her new stuff she's doing but you might like it.

As you like the Cocteau Twins have you thought about checking out some work by Robin Guthrie (co-founder of the band). He has released 4 solo albums since the split of the Cocteau Twins in 1998. These are:

Imperial (2003)
Continental (2006)
Carousel (2009)
Emeralds (2011)

Following in the same genre as the Cocteau Twins (dream pop) check of a band called Beach House - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHbtR8uO81M

Based on your overall music taste I would suggest you check out Radiohead some of their songs (especially from their album In Rainbows) are quite experimental.

Another band which is quite dream pop which I've only come across quite recently is S.C.U.M.

Any good music suggestions?

I aim to do what no one else did.

Lykke Li is good because she sounds like she can sing good and she can sing good so it's no joke. Won't you listen to her listen to her tonight. From her song Tonight.

Skrillex because it combines an utter lack of raw, real musical ability with unbearable catchiness. BANGARANG.

Alkaline Trio may be good and may not be good but who knows because nobody has ever heard of them.

Gary Jules is good because Mad World is a good song and I like that but it's always upsetting when someone has a GJ or a JG name instead of a GG or JJ name so there are very few superfans of Gary Jules for that reason.

Sorry I only do one artist per user. I don't want to overextend myself.

I need good music suggestion any one who can suggest me?

Short Flags Music suggestions, needed pronto!?

Hello! I perform with short flags (pep flags/twirl staffs/etc.) and I'm in need of GREAT music that can be performed to. Any music is fine, past songs include:

99 Red Balloons - Goldfinger
Canon in D. - Jerry C.
I'll Fly with You Remix - Gigi D'Agostino
Steptember - Earth, Wind & Fire
Starry Eyed Surprise - Paul Okenfold...

pretty much any song with a great up beat (remixes are good) & makes you want to dance! Lyrics... eh, as long as it's not lude or inappropriate. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

I need some rock music suggestions! (System of a Down, Sick Puppies, Flyleaf, etc.)?

K well for the woman singer the only one band left that hasn't been named already, and I got to see live already when they opened up for HIM, is We Are The Fallen, I found them allright. She doesn't scream too much so hopefully you'll like em somewhat.
And as far as topping a band like SOAD is pretty damn hard, I can hardly come up with bands that have at least a bit of similarities so maybe perhaps Unearth or maybe something a bit harder but less faster maybe As I Lay Dying? Idk jut throwing out ideas, but check out We Are The Fallen they have a female and somewhat hot lead vocalist =]

I'm new to music. What are some suggestions of good rock bands/songs to listen to?

Listen to Metallica and Iron Maiden first. Shift to Black Sabbath and Judas Priest. If you like the high pitched voice of Judas Priest you can listen to AC/DC, and follow that sort of path.I chose the other path. From Black Sabbath come to Dream Theatre, followed by Tool. Then find a copy of Reign in Blood and listen to it in full, in sequence. If you LOVE this, welcome to Thrash Metal. Listen to Slayer, and follow it up with other thrash bands like Anthrax, Megadeth (Metallica's singing is not as harsh as in thrash in general, so I kept that seperate). Follow this up with Opeth, and if you like growling, follow that up with Lamb of God, Children of Bodom. If you really like it, shift to Neurosis (that badass sound), and then Cradle of Filth. Welcome to Black Metal.Or on a complete different path, follow Beatles, followed by Pink Floyd, followed by more of Pink Floyd. :)
