Last.fm lists: Marina & The Diamonds, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Ellie Goulding & Birdy as being similar to Florence + The Machine.

The site also lists: London Grammar, Ben Howard, Lucy Rose, Bon Iver & The xx as being similar to Daughter.

However, a few of my own personal favourites that are similar include: Bombay Bicycle Club, Hudson Taylor, Orla Gartland, Lauren Aquilina, Mumford & Sons, Kodaline, James Bay, The Civil Wars, Damien Rice, Ed Sheeran, Gabrielle Aplin, Lewis Watson, George Ezra, Jack Johnson, Jake Bugg, James Vincent McMorrow

I am very concerned by the music I found on my daughter's iPhone. Some songs are listen in the details. Are my concerns justified? Does liking this music make her bad or traschie?

Let me tell you something:I'm 15. I don't listen to the kind of music you're daughter does but my music does have cursing/violence/etc. When I was younger my mom told me about the different curse words in songs, and the meanings of the words. At 15 I do not curse, I do not do drugs, I am not a rebellious child. In fact I'm quite innocent. I don't understand ‘dirty’ jokes and I don't wish to. So, I think you're daughter will be fine. Just make sure she knows what the curse words actually mean. Know that everyone's different and your daughter may go through a ‘rebellious’ phase. Personally, I wouldn't stop her from listening to this music, as that just creates unneeded conflict. In fact, I would even ask her about the kinds of songs she likes/ artists ( this would be a good way to talk about her music without revealing the fact that you looked at her music without her knowing). I would try to bond over music with her; try asking her if she has any music suggestions for you. This would be a good way to talk to her without seeming like the bad cop. If your daughter wonders about your new interest in her music, tell her you want to update your music, or that you're just curious what people are listening to nowadays. Hope this helps!

Similar songs like Someone Like You by Adele? Similar artists like John Legend?

I've always liked John Legend and just the piano background music. And after listening to Adele's Someone Like You, I was completely blown away. And I was just wondering if there are any songs or artists that uses piano accompaniment?

Daughter wants to listen to these bands such as My Chemical romance, Black Veil Brides and 30 Seconds to Mars?

I understand your concern. My parents were the same way when I got into that type of music. I'm personally a big fan of all of the bands you mentioned. I can tell you that they are perfectly fine for a teenage girl in high school to listen to. Remember the old saying, don't judge a book by it's cover? Well that's exactly what you need to do here. Yes, on the outside bands like Black Veil Brides or Good Charlotte may look like bad boys and bad influences; but when you actually look into the band: look into the lyrics they write, the message the band puts out, you'll find that they are all genuin people and great influneces. Alot of the reasons that people like Pete Wentz and Gerard Way are looked up to is because of their past experiences. Gerard Way and My Chemical Romance is actually one of my top idols because of his life experiences and the band's message (I suggest watching Life On The Murder Scene, it's the band's documentary on their early years and goes into better detail).

As for her crushes on the different band members, it's perfeclty normal. I've had my share of crushes on the same bands she has and then some. It's really just a way of expressing her love for her idols. It's gonna look like an obsession at first but that's all it is. It's like anyone else's love for their favorite music artist or celebrity.

All the artist and the bands you mentioned, Pete Wentz, Gerard Way, Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross, they're all good people and set good examples. I couldn't pick a better list of people for your daughter to look up to, personally. Growing up with them has influenced me for the better. Yeah, they dress in all black, maybe wear a little eyeliner, and other stuff like that; but that's just their personal style just like Lady Gaga has hers (as bizzar as it is). And a lot of the time they dress to match the theme of their current album (for example: MCR dressed in mostly black for their Black Parade album and now their in bright colors and vintage clothes for Danger Days). All in all, I would say that the bands your daughter wants to listen to are perfectly okay for a high schooler. They influenced me and many others for the better and I know they'll influence her in a positive way too.

Similar Artists: Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, etc...?

Hmm.. I like Ben Harper's music and I'm a big fan of Jack Johnson's music. If you like those kind of chill-out music, I'd strongly recommend stuffs by Kings of Convenience (Cayman Island, I'd Rather Dance With You, Misread, Know How), Donavon Frankenreiter (Lovely Day, Butterfly, It Don't Matter, Swing On Down), Damien Rice (9 Crimes, Blower's Daughter, Cannonball), Jason Mraz (The Remedy, You and I Both), John Mayer (Your Body Is A Wonderland, Waiting on the World to Change), Rufus Wainwright (Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk), Norah Jones (Don't Know Why, Come Away With Me, Sunrise), Fiona Apple (Criminal) and
Royskopp (Remind Me, What Else Is There).

You also can try Howie Day, Jamie Cullum, James Blunt too.

Really, go listen to these artistes, I don't think you'll be disappointed. :) Cheers! :)

Jack Johnson wrote the song Belle. Who are some similar artists in that particular musical genre?

im familiar with belle and currently live in france. I would recommend you look into the brazillian genre of music and specifically Bossa Nova style of music.

its much more similar to this specific song of his and I bet its the style of music he was working from.

or at least latin american.

a big bossa nova name you could search is Gilberto (last name of two artists, father and daughter I believe, father sounds VERY similar to belle, they are both very well known)

good luck

P.S. ive done a good bit of searching for this specific style also, if you find good music of this genre please email me. I would love to trade some titles.
