What is the cost of living in Dubai?

Unlike most, I wont brag about Dubai’s luxury instead I will get straight to the point by explaining the cost. Your question is very general, but I will try my best to answer it. Now, cost of living in Dubai varies, but for the ease of understanding I will break down the cost into three different classes with earnings.Low class: A person who earns between Dhs 2000–6000 a month, either shares a room for Dhs1000 or pays Dhs 3500 for a studio in rare cases. Drives a Toyota or Honda and is not able to save anything out of salary as whole of it goes in covering necessary expenses like rent, transportation, food, internet and phone bills etc. In this category you’ll find most expats to be Filipinos, Pakistanis, Indians, Bengladeshi, Sri Lankans, Egyptians and many others.Middle class: earns between Dhs 7000–30,000 a month. Lives in his/her own condo, is able to save money after deducting all necessary expenses. Drives a four wheel, Lexus or even a German in some cases. Also, the cheapest studio in Dubai rents for about 3500–5000 /m.If a person can afford that and is still able to save then he or she’s in middle class. This categories is predominantly filled with Indians, Western Arabs, Europeans, Americans, Emiratis and in some rare cases Pakistanis too. Also, people in this category get benefits.Upper class: earns between 35,000–3,00,000. Either lives in a condo in Marina or in villa in Jumeirah. Drives Germen, is able to pay rent between 15,000 to 30,000 monthly. Lives the same life as describe as how Dubai is described on TV. You’ll only find, Indians, Emiratis, Western Arabs and Westerners in this category. These three categories will give you a general idea of earnings and the type of lifestyle a you can afford with it. Now, most sources won't tell you this, but if you ask from anyone who is able to give a realistic answer will agree with my explanation. Not many people will tell you this story instead they will talk mostly about the glit and glamor.Edit (09/02/2018): Thank you for all the upvotes and comments. I haven’t been to the UAE in two years so I’m assuming the cost of living has probably increased especially with the arrival of VAT this year.

What kind of prices can I expect at Dubai Outlet Mall?

What you find depends largely on luck.Prices are set according to size, popularity and which season it was released in.Also, there are some days which have CRAAAAZYYYY offers (previously it was a Monday which had Buy 1 Get 1 free) which they change the shelves / stock for to ensure that we dont bring the mall down.I was cynical enough to verify this by going there on an ‘offer’ day as well as a non offer day and my hunch was well confirmed. All in all, I still drop by there every 3–6 months because I consider myself lucky, because if I dont do that, who will?

Is everything closed on Fridays in Dubai?

Not everything really, but almost of tourist attractions specially the religious ones are part time on that day. Just like Jumeirah mosque and Sheikh Zayed mosque. But also there are many tourist attractions in Dubai are working just like Dubai mall, Dubai fountain and Burj Khalifa. So the best way to spend the week-end day in Dubai (from my point of view) either to do desert safari tour or go for a dinner on Dubai marina dinner cruise.

Is it true that employees at Accenture work only 5 days a week?

Is it true that employees at Accenture work only 5 days a week?In most of the scenario- Yes, But as you are aware that Accenture is Service based company so it purely depends upon your current project role.If you are in project and your role is to provide support to the client so there is possibility that you have to work as per the client needs and you might have to provide support during the weekend as well . But in this situation you will get off for 2 Days during weekdays. If you are in a project where you are the part of Development or Testing Team then most probably you don’t have to work during weekend except deadline is closer or Deployment is there. At the end you will get off for 2 Days in a week.Thank you for reading.
