Don't cut on food drastically. Just be little selective only.Don't start heavy workout suddenly. Proceed gradually.Don't go for jogging as it may affect your knees and heart adversely. In stead try brisk walking.Finally, practice specific posture yoga for 3–6 months.Read my book on health with a chapter on obasity.

Emergency weight loss help??? ?

If you don't care about your health and want to lose weight, starve yourself. You'll look horrible and your body will eat your muscle tissue instead of fat, then you develop an eating disorder etc etc. When you start eating again, you will definetly put it back on quicker than you lost it, it happens everytime, and you won't be able to starve yourself much longer than a week.

If you want to be not retarded and lose fat, which is bad, instead of weight, which is good, eat more. Only bad food hurts you, good food helps you. 6 meals every 2-3 hours everyday with no skipping becuase speeds up your metabolism, keeps you satisfied, and burns more calories than 3 meals or less because your body is constantly working to digest food. Drink water, lots of it over soda/beer/fruit juices. Do cardio for 30-60 minutes, find out how many calories you burn daily (BMR + exercise) and eat 500 calories less than that (any less than 1200-1300 and you're starving yourself, when you starve you lose muscle, not fat, not having muscle is much worse and much more unattaractive than having a little extra fat).

If you lose more than 1-2 pounds a week, eat more because it's unhealthy and you'll put it back on because your body can't ease into the transition.

It takes work, time, and dedication to look good. If it were as easy as not eating for a week or running to the bathroom and vomiting after meals, everyone would look good. But they don't, and it isn't.

Extreme weight loss????

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.

start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Healthy meals for weight loss?

I've always wanted to lose weight but I always gave up as soon as I started. With New Years coming around I think it's a great idea to start on the first day of a new year and stick to it! :) So I'm going to stop eating sweets, chocolate, crips, fizzy drinks...everything. Obviously I may have them on the odd occasion but like once a month isn't going to kill my plan.

So does anyone know any foods that are good for weight loss...or meal idea?

I lost a lot of weight and gained it back very fast? Why did I gain it all back and more so quickly?

Okay so last year I wasn't very happy with my body and I was only 15 so I started to restrict a lot of 'bad' food groups such as gluten, high carb vegetables and some fruits. I would eat breakfast, lunch and dinner but never overate. I had no idea how to diet in a healthy manner, I thought I was doing it the right way. Anyway each week I would lose an average of 2 kg and went from being around 60 to 50kg over a few months. I've gained back all the weight I lost and an extra few kg, not saying I'm unsatisfied, I'm actually a lot more accepting of myself and body now.

My question is how come my body gained all the weight back so quickly?

Looking for ideas for a tattoo that symbolizes weight loss?

CONGRATULATIONS!! Way to go! If you are stuck on symbolizing weight you could go for barbells with the amount of weight you lost symbolized in the pounds on the weights, or something along those lines.

But you might want to broaden your thought process a little as some people have already suggested.

I also had a tattoo that symbols my 200 pound weight loss. After one year of maintaining the weight. I got a tribal looking butterfly. The butterfly to represent the beautiful transformation of my body and the outline portion of the butterfly demonstrates the windy road I had to travel to get to my goal.

You are a guy so I can probably assume you are not going to get a butterfly LOL! But you could get a Japanese symbol for the word strength, commitment and/or endurance. You could go with an anchor, isn't that what Popeye had on his arm. It could represent strength. I don't really know off the top of my head but think about something that represents who you are now that you have lost all that extra weight!
