How do I restore my accidentally deleted contacts from an Android phone?

Basically, when you use a android phone, you must be signed in to the phone using one of your google account. Google helps you backup and restore your contacts very easily just in few steps. Before, you might want to try restoring, I would suggest you to login to your gmail account on a PC and go to the "Contacts" Menu as shown in the figure below. You should find all your contacts in this window. Now go to your phone, follow the steps:1. Go to settings.2. Go to Accounts.3. Select Google.4. You should be able to see all your google accounts here. 5. Make sure you have the same account that holds your contacts is configured here. (Otherwise add it using "Add Account" option)6. Now you can synch all or any of your desired applications as below.7. Make sure you have the Contacts Sync button on as seen in the above pic.8. Now, press the 3 dots in the top of the above screen, and select Sync Now.9. You should be able to see all your missed contacts, are getting synched from your gmail account. Now, what if you do not have your contacts in your gmail account? If you have them in form of soft copy (any file) you can import it in to your gmail contacts as CSV file. and then sync them up easily to your mail. So, I recommend all of you to enable auto sync in your android device with your google account and make sure the contacts are synched by checking in the gmail contacts. Beacuse the contacts are sometimes invaluable to us. Let me know, if you want any more help in this.

How do you delete a Hot or Not account?

You could ask them how to close your account by using this link to their contacts page - http://hotornot.com/contacts.phtml

5. Termination of use by you
They say that you can have too much of a good thing… what do I do if I want to “unregister” myself from Hot or Not?

If you have registered on Hot or Not, you can terminate your registration at any time by going to the ‘Settings’ control on Hot or Not when you are logged in and choosing the ‘delete profile’ link. We save your profile information in case you later decide to restore your account. Many users deactivate their accounts for temporary reasons and in doing so expect us to maintain their information until they return to Hot or Not. You will therefore be able to restore your account and your profile in its entirety within 30 days of de-activating it. Once your registration is terminated, we have the right to delete any related Content that you have submitted or uploaded on to Hot or Not. For further details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Content that you have uploaded to Hot or Not, other than your Profile (such as comments or email messages), may still appear on Hot or Not following termination of your registration.

How long does it take before a recycled account can be created again?

I have a yahoo email account that I forgot the password to some time ago, several years in fact. I noticed today that it had been 'recycled.' How long will it be before a recycled can be recreated again? I tried recreating it today but the first time I did it, a blank page was brought up after I submitted all of the information on the first account creation page. The second time I tried to do it, I was informed that the id I was trying to create was unavailable. Attempting to login using the information I submitted when the blank page came up only results in this message: "Your Yahoo! account has been inactive for an extended period of time and is being recycled. If you need a new account, please sign up for a new one."

Is it even possible to recreate an account that has been recycled? If so, how long before it is possible to do so?

Thank you.

How can I retrieve a discarded draft on Gmail?

Found myself in a similar situation today. Some very important info which i used to keep in draft, and i clicked 'Discard draft' by mistake, and i recognized my mistake too late (after 30 seconds slot provided by gmail as pointed by @Dick hoe)Then as usual i tried googling the web with a hope that i may find a solution, but with no success. Fortunately, i use gmail on my smart phone as well with auto refresh mode off. What i did next was :1) Switched off all the sources of data connection (Wifi/Mobile data).2) Opened the gmail app.3) Went to Drafts section, and yess.. The Draft which i discarded was present there in the application cache... :).. I copied that data and secured it...I think this may be helpful for some.

I am into login loop in yahoo mail even after entering correct login id and password. What shall I do?

"If the login screen continues to loop and never go anywhere, or if you simply can't access your account, this usually means that the login cookie is not storing properly on your browser.

Here are some things to try:

•Click "Sign in as a different user".
- Once signed out, simply re-enter your ID and password.
•Clear your Internet Browser's Cache and Cookies.
•Try all of the log in URLs below, as your results can vary:

Yahoo! Account -- http://login.yahoo.com
Yahoo! Mail -- http://mail.yahoo.com
My Yahoo! -- http://my.yahoo.com/

If possible, try to access each of these links from a different browser or computer, to help eliminate the possibility of an issue with your computer's configuration settings.

If after trying the troubleshooting steps above you still experience problems, contact Yahoo directly. If you have another Yahoo! ID, please let them know if you are experiencing the same issue with that ID as well.

Still no Resolution to my unrecoverable yahoo account!?

There could be a few reasons you cannot get into your account, it could of been deactivated by Yahoo or stolen.

To find out if it has been deactivated try and recover the account by clicking " forgot your password". You may be prompted to choose between "I have never used a credit card with Yahoo!" or " I have used a credit card with Yahoo!" PLACE A DOT IN I have never used a credit card with Yahoo! and click continue to recover your account, if the account has been deactivated you will get a window up tell you this. If you get a page up telling you your info does not match, then you are making an error with your input data, or more then likely your account has been stolen.
If it is a main primary account that has been deactivated -- it has been deactivated by Yahoo, and no chance of getting it back.
if your account has been stolen, there is not much chance you will get your ID back as all original info will be changed and although yahoo says it recognises original info, THEY DO NOT, as once the thief changes the ZIP and primary email the recovery process anywhere though yahoo is useless. It is this new ZIP that Yahoo will recognise in recovery, not the original one you used when making the account.
Yahoo will not listen to you without that original personal info matching.

Make sure you have a good password something with letters and numbers in it the Yahoo generated passwords are the hardest to crack.
DO NOT SIGN INTO ANY LINK SENT TO YOU ON MESSENGER, ALWAYS USE THE YAHOO HOME PAGE.
