Lose a few pounds?!?

Running is the best all over fat burner. If you do not like running, have breathing problems or cannot run, you can walk at an incline. For example if you walk on a treadmill at 4 mph at 10 incline for 45 minutes, you have burned 500 calories. Eat mostly fruits, vegetables, and protiens. Try to cut back on sugar or not eat anything full of sugar such as candy, cookies, etc but natural sugars (found in fruit) are fine. Here is a meal plan that will help you lose weight fast and not be too hard to follow:

BREAKFAST
1/2 grapefruit
2 egg whites
slice of whole wheat toast

LUNCH
pear
banana
Fiber One bar
serving size bag of Sunchips(your choice of flavor)
celery with peanut butter

DINNER
breaded and baked fish (any kind you like) or chicken
peas or any kind of vegetable
brown rice

SNACKS
cottage cheese
fruit
vegetables
protien shake (one scoop protien powder, nonfat milk, frozen fruit)


Also make sure you drink enough water. Drink one glass on nonfat skim milk a day or have it in a shake and then drink NOTHING but water. Take your weight and divide it by 2. The convert pounds to ounces. For example, if you weighed 150 lbs then divide by 2 = 75 lbs then convert to ounces - 75 ounces of water a day. Make sure to drink that much water every day.

Maybe you shouldn't worry about what is "ideally" and worry about your own confidence. If YOU feel you should lose some, or maybe even work out a bit and get some toning, then go for it-- if YOU feel perfect with your self then don't worry about a piece of paper tells you you should be... Whatever you do, don't starve yourself or go on strict diets... a good walk or maybe some easy works outs will help if YOU want to lose a bit of weight.. personally- who wants sticks and bones? YUCK. Seriously, Mary Kate Olsen isn't hot.

Do I need to loose weight? I am 5.8 142 pounds?

Actually your ideal weight is 140...I don't get why all these people say you could do with losing a few pounds...makes no sense...For every inch above 5 feet you are supposed to gain 5 pounds (starting at 100)...so 5x8=140...you're basically perfect...but if you want to lose a few extra pounds just excercise everytime (walking and running are the best things you can do, and swimming if you have the chance (they really tone your thighs and legs up)). No promises that you won't pass out from not eating that long, or that you won't burn some muscle while your at it.Now, how do you burn the other 4 pounds? Well we are maxed out on activity and only have one option left. It's what wrestlers do before every match to lose weight: water weight. Our body's are 60–65% water so we have plenty to spare. Let's go back to our walking and no eating senerio. Let incorporate the idea of not drinking water all day plus a 2 hour session at the sauna afterwards. I'm pretty confident that if you were to do what I just explained, you would lose 5 pounds in 24 hours.Keep in mind that this is extremely unhealthy and could be dangerous. I don't recommend you do anything I just explained. The first pound will stay off, but the other 4 pounds is a waste of time. Your gonna gain it back right away from rehydrateing yourself. If you want to lose weight in a safer way that still has decently fast results you should buy a Fitbit. This will keep track of how many calories you have burned and motivate you to walk more. If you eat 1000 calories less then you burn everyday, you will lose 2 pounds a week. This is the maximum amount that people still consider as healthy. You will start to get motivated by watching the number on the scale go down. In 2 months people will start to realize your progress. Within 4 months you will look like a completely different person.In conclusion, don't fall for it when a program claims to help you lose weight fast with no effort. It takes effort and dedication, more importantly self control. You don't need a program, you just need accountability and awareness if what to do. I hope I helped
