Need Windows Xp Sp2 Bootable Cd Link

Need help installing Windows XP Pro sp3 on my Alienware Aurora R5 Skylake CPU or similar.?

You will need a floppy disc drive to add the appropriate SATA drivers so XP can "see" the hard drive to go through the install.

Find the XP preinstall sata driver (aka "F6 Driver") for whatever chipset is used on that motherboard, unpack it to a floppy and run the XP install by booting from the XP setup disc, with the USB floppy also connected. Hit F6 at the prompt to install additional drivers...

Alternatively you can make a new XP install image with the drivers integrated.

As others note, standard XP is 32 bit and you will only be able to use 4GB address space.
You can find drivers for most stuff that work with XP; try vista or 7 drivers for things not listed against XP as a lot of the driver packages from when those first came out also included XP support, even if not listed.

XP64 exists but drivers for that are far harder to find, some are simple impossible - makers never bothered creating them.. 64 bit systems did not become mainstream until vista / Win 7..

Edit - it appears the R5 uses a Z170 chipset.
This article details installing XP on a [different] machine that uses the same chipset, so the same procedure [and hopefully drivers] should work:

Hi,
You need to use another computer and download Ultimate Boot CD. Run the program and make a Boot CD. Use that CD to boot you computer with.
Before you run any other program in UBCD, run a virus scan and remove all viruses that hide or can not be removed when Windows is running.
An Ultimate Boot CD for Windows is a bootable recovery CD that contains software used for repairing, restoring, or diagnosing almost any computer problem. Use the above link to download a customized ISO file of the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows. A CD-ROM created from this ISO file will be a bootable disk containing a myriad of diagnostics and utilities. Windows XP boot up hangs at hpdskflt.sys?

It is a file from a Hewlett Packard device which has been corrupted or removed data from the registry. Go into safe mode if possible and unistall any Hewlett Packard devices you have and reinstall the drivers and software.

Edit: Gee that is messed up. The point of safe mode is it only loads the basic drivers just to get Windows running such as keyboard and mouse. Maybe the problem is deeper than just that file, I have run out of what else I can offer you.

How do I install GNU radio on Windows XP?

You can find installables for GNU radio on Windows XP in the below link.WindowsInstall - GNU Radio - gnuradio.orgBut as the site says,“there are several reasons why it cannot be "simply" compiled and run under Windows:The build and install procecures are based on Linux scripts and toolsSeveral third-party libraries are used, each with its own, often system-dependent, installation procedureMost GNU Radio applications must interface to hardware (e.g., a sound card or USRP) which require system-dependent drivers and installation proceduresBecause GNU Radio is written as an extension to Python, there are potential problems on Windows if different runtime libraries are used for GNU Radio and Python “Hence it’s better to install it either using virtual box,or using cygwin or to install a linux based environment such as Ubuntu or Fedora(…) which is the best option.Have fun experimenting with GNU Radio!

Where can I download Windows XP for free?

Where can I download windows XP for free? Here’s what you do…Google “Windows XP ISO Download”. This will bring up a number of sites that provide an image of Windows XP that you can burn to a CD in your Ubuntu, then reload the computer with. The only requirement is that you have the serial number for the version of XP you’re downloading and installing. If you download the professional version, and all you have is home, the number won’t work.Check your COA (the colorful sticker that should be on your computer). It will tell you what version of Windows you’re authorized to use, and provide the serial number. If your computer was originally XP, and the number on the sticker is difficult to read, you can contact the manufacturer, and for a small fee, they will usually provide the factory restore disks. It is not illegal to download a copy of Windows. It is, however, illegal to use a number that is not registered to your computer. I just want to be clear about that. You will need to authorize the install, and Microsoft will probably ask you to call their automated number to get authorization, but I doubt that they’ll show up on your doorstep and charge you with piracy.

I need the Windows Xp recovery disc for my Acer Aspire One Zg5 Notebook?

You can purchase a recovery disk off Acer which will be mailed to you, alternatively you can buy a CD off ebay, or find a download of it. There is a version called Performance edition which is only 200 or so MB, but I believe this is an illegal pirated version, and will require downloading drivers for your hardware.

Where can I download the best files for Windows XP SP3?

I have come across this error only with two cases 1. The ISO file is corrupt or broken.Download a good uso file with good comments, generally the one with most seeders.2. The software you are using to make the bootable pendrive is not able to handle the file properly, so it is damaging the components.Use a better bootable drive maker software. Some torrents include compatible bootable disk maker softwares along with the ISO file, try them. Then use your own windows license key to activate the copy.

Is there a legal way to download and install Windows XP again?

Yes, if you have a valid COA, or Certificate Of Authenticity, you can legally install Windows XP on your netbook again. If you look on the case of your netbook, there should be a colorful sticker that has the number you can use to install.  This is the COA.If you contact HP, you may be able to get the original factory install disks for a small charge.  These would restore the operating system to the original factory condition.  This is idea in that the drivers needed for the hardware would be automatically installed, as well as some included software that wouldn't be available if you do a generic install.  You can download the drivers for the netbook from the HP website, but it's generally easier if you have the factory disks. You can Google "download windows xp install iso" and get a few possible sites that provide links to images.  The problem is that these aren't sanctioned, and you may end up with a modified image that contains viruses and malware.  There are some safe sites, but since I don't normally look for images on the web, I can't vouch of any of them. So, your best bet is to see if a friend or co worker has an old disk lying around.  XP was popular enough that someone will have a disk.  While installing to your netbook from a CD requires an external drive, there are ways to create an installable USB drive.Tutorial: Installing XP Home/Professional from a Flash DriveIf you absolutely cannot find an XP CD image, message me, and I will get you where you need to go.
