My neighbour has been causing a lot of problems she recently damaged my garden with her twin sister. They are both mentally retarded. They have refused to get it repaired. I spoke to their carer and support worker but she said that because they are "imbaseels" as she put it, they are not responsible for their actions. They live together in a very dirty house. The both use computer technology to communicate to eachother and their guests and care team. The volume is so loud that at night i can clearly hear their automated conversations through the floor. They also have attached a pulley to the ceiling beneath my living soon and part of their ceiling has fallen down. The constant noise and behaviour is really annoying me. The support team said if i complained about them that the authornties would incarcerate them and it would be my fault. I'm not sure what to do? I also found that they have been blocking up drains by flushing incontenance pads down the toilet. The water backed up into my bath. Full of faeces.

Yes. I think one problem is that I am a very nice, very chill neighbor so people take advantage of it. Right now, the neighbor is building a “small in-law unit.” A wagon filled with broken concrete has been in front of my house for weeks. Last week a trench appeared down the side of my house with the excavated dirt piled high on my side of the property line. Fortunately, they did not uproot my azalea.At an apartment house, we had the manager below us, smoking pot in her courtyard, the smell drifting up to my bedroom on warm summer nights. Upstairs this Israeli couple had a kid who jumped off the furniture until 10pm or so at night, disrupting my kids’ sleep and generally driving us crazy. I tried to talk to them, reason with them, ask them to control their kid. No luck. My boyfriend went up to talk to them. When I went to renew my lease, they would not renew it because the lady said she felt threatened by my boyfriend. Argh!

so i live in this penthouse, the apartment below me has my neighbour, and i was sleeping with his wife for quite a while. she got pregnant and she is keeping the baby... we have finished our little affair but i told her to have an abortion what should i do? it is going to be weird seeing my neighbour and he thinks hes havin a child when it is actually mine.... Everyone here has suggested going over to police or a lawyer. But that would be too draining for both the parties. Why not try to talk to them, in a polite non-hostile manner? Why not listen to their side of story once? They deserve a chance to explain their behavior. Since they are biased towards your family, try sending some other neighbor or person they are not hostile towards. Maybe they talk to him/her. As the person to tell them the problems not as problems but as kindo of gossip. They may give in and state their problems or whatever it is. Then you can work towards changing the situation. If this does not work, then you have the police and court doors open. Also, continue collecting proof. Remember, voice recordings are no proof in a court of law.
