Netball Injury Only 13 Help

What's the hardest/easiest position to play in netball ?

Hmm, well. Good question!

But i guess it all comes down to fitness.
If your not very fit and you're told to play center for the whole game, you won't be having fun cause you'll have to try keep up with the opposing center to defend her AND play attack when your team has the ball too!

But that's for me :)
So, i guess you just have to try different positions and see which one you like and can play well in!

How to soften a volleyball?

you could go down to a sporting goods store and by some needles, they only cost a buck for three. moisten the needle and stick it into the ball at the little white thing with a hole in it. keep your thumb over the needle while you are doing this or else all the air will rush out. slowly let some air out of the ball by pulling part of your thumb off the end of the needle. when the ball give a little, pull the needle out, keeping your thumb on the end of the needle to keep all the air from leaking. if you let too much air out, most bicycle pumps are compatible with the needle. to soften the outer coating of the ball, you need to play volleyball with it.

I'm 14, is it too late to start playing volleyball?

I started playing netball when i was 8 or 9, and continued until I was 13. I quit this year because I got pretty bored of the sport, and also I got hurt a lot (I know it's a non-contact sport, but that doesn't stop girls from getting sneaky)

I play volleyball at school (not for the school team, it's just the sport that my class is studying this term) and I really love it, plus I feel like now that I don't play netball anymore, I should get into another sport.

Is it too late to start at 14 years old? What is the age that most kids start playing? I know from netball that there are lots of girls that start playing from when they're like 6, or just some really young age. I know that there are barely any girls that start netball when they're 14, because it's just too hard to compete with these girls that have been playing for years and years. I don't know whether for volleyball it would be different though, because it's not as popular of a sport as netball? I think because netball is a non-contact sport it's a very popular sport for girls to play. Do most girls start volleyball in their early teens? I rarely hear about young girls playing volleyball. What age do most girls start playing volleyball?

How many days will it take to walk normally after a tibia fracture?

The initial phase of healing should be finished in 6 to 12 weeks. At that point you can usually start walking with just a brace, sometimes no brace it. Each fracture is different. A small fracture heals faster than a large fracture.Complex or high energy fractures take longer to heal than require surgery. Also fractures in people who are not healthy take much longer to heal and sometimes don’t heal. Examples would be severe diabetes or heart disease or lung disease or malnutrition.Return to full sports or work activities typically takes 12 to 24 weeks or sometimes longer if you had delayed healing.

My right knee hurts when i walk up stairs or run a long distance?

Ok so i went to the Physiotherapist and was told i had a minor sports injury so i was told to do some knee exercises and the pain went away. Recently it has started again. I still do my exercises but they aren't helping and now i get bad knee pain from walking up stairs. It also swells up a bit if I have had to walk up and down a bit.

Im only 13. I play Netball, basketball, rounders and am quite active. I have no other health issues.

Do i need to go back to the doctors or is there something else i need to do.

Thank you :o)

My toes touch the ends of my new Asics running shoes. Are they too small?

Yes, they are and eventually it will be aggravating to your toes.Try shoes on later in the day when feet are more likely to be swollen and try on both shoes of a pair, not just one. Stand up, bounce on your toes, walk back and forth normally, try to imitate as many movements as possible.Go with one that is not pinching or restrictive and the toes don't touch or rub against the end of the shoe.
