My new email contacts group name not recognized when typed in "To" line?

Why doesn't yahoo recognize my contact nicknames and autofill in the email address?
Ages ago (more than a year), yahoo stopped recognizing my "nicknames", so for instance I'd start having to write in my mother's name, rather than "mom". I checked her contact info in my contacts, and it still lists her nickname as "Mom", but if I put that in the "to" line, waiting for it to autofill, it does nothing. Even better, if I can get the nicknames to start working again, is there a way to have yahoo create an autofill hierarchy so that it _starts_ with the nicknames, and then goes to other email addresses? For instance, I email myself reminders all the time, and my nickname is "me". But I have other folks in my address book where the first name starts with "Me", or the email address does. In autofill, I'd like it to rank the possible options by relevance, putting nicknames at the top. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes, you can. Simply use the person's phone number and they will receive an SMS instructing them how to get started with GroupMe.If you do not own the group and it isn't open, I don't think you'll be able to add anyone, so keep that in mind.

Did you do something different other than that? Dogs can't see color so that shouldn't have made a difference. My dog barks at my husband when he has a baseball cap on, but that's cause he cannot see his face. My dog also barks at me and my oldest daughter when we have our hair wrapped in a towel. That's why I ask about you doing something different. It could have been because of the smell of the hair color but as soon as you came up to him, he should have been able to smell that it was you. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Im confused. I have this one contact that ive talked to many times on skype. However one time when we ended the conversation it said they had not shared contact details with me. (I assumed they deleted me). But months later this person called me and we chatted. But a few weeks later the same scenario happend and after the vidoe chat it said they have not shared contact details with me. So i assumed they deleted me.. But last night it said they were online and i was able to see their contact details and it showed their picture. So my question is has this person been deleteing me and then adding me again or is this a comon thing that happens on skype without either me or my contacts have control off? This has only happend with this one particular contact and im getting the vibe that they dont want to talk to me anymore so they blocked or deleted me. But then I wouldnt understand why their contact details have been shared again. Any help would be appriciated
My Android phone is not able to display all the contacts in my SIM card. It just shows them for some seconds and then disappear. What is the problem and its resolution?
As soon as you insert your sim card and the contacts are visible you can go toPhone>Menu>Import/Export ContactsAnd import all contacts from SIM card that way your sim card contacts will be in your phone.

Canon iP1800 printer not recognizing refilled black cartridge?
Take out the cartridge. Dip a cotton bud in surgical spirit (also known as rubbing alcohol), and rub all the yellow circles on the cartridge (the ones that make contact with pins in the printer). Once you've done that, grab a piece of tissue paper and dry the contacts with it. Then, using the other end of the cotton bud, also dipped in surgical spirit, rub the print head (the gold square at the bottom of the cartridge) VERY GENTLY - you don't want to scratch it! Reinstall the cartridge, maybe jiggle it a little bit in its place if you have to, and it should work. My iP1800 gives me a message when it thinks it's run out of ink, but I just press the "ignore" button and it prints just fine... I've never managed to successfully refill a colour cartridge (I refill the ink normally but it doesn't print), but my record so far is filling the same black cartridge five times over (until it started to produce a lot of white lines in the text)...
Yahoo mail contact nicknames not working?
Starting about a week ago whenever I entered a nickname in the "To" feild of an email and error message pops up saying: There was a problem: Either there is a syntax error in one of your address fields, or you have used a nickname which is not in your Address Book. Please enter a valid e-mail address (e.g., in the format person@yahoo.com) or use a nickname from your Yahoo! Address Book. Your message has not been sent. I checked to make sure the nickname and email address hadn't been changed somehow because it has worked many times before. There is no spaces or punctuation marks in the nickname. It does work when I just enter the address, so I know that that account is working. I just really want to know what's wrong with my contacts . . . I saw that yahoo had done some revamping of the contacts program so I deleted the contact and re-entered it so it's under the new format. It's still not working. Anybody having the same problem or know how to fix it?
