Difference between pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient and chi square?
Can someone give me a simple explanation of what Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient is used for and how it differs from chi square?And a simple explanation of what a linear regression is used for. I'm doing a project for the IB project about whether a relationship between countries' GDP and percentage of its citizens with healthcare insurance exists or vary independently of one another? Also, if anyone knows any other math processes I can use with the project, please mention!
What is a good product for my senior project on Child abuse?
Veronica, This is a great question but I must answer it with a question which ( I hope ) leads to suggestions. As a result of child abuse what products will be needed? For example, the child may need mental health care for a long period or maybe physical health care. The abuser will need correction ( from a slap on the hand to incarceration ) dependent on the type and severity of the abuse. For the young child it could be something as simple as a "security blanket" or a Teddy Bear. For the older child something that will represent real "Love" is needed. Sometimes as we grow older we feel so all alone and need to feel loved even though we feel no one is around to love us. What is a "real friend"? I am a christian so I have Jesus Christ who never fails me. Who do you have? If you felt abused, who or what would you need to be with you? What kind of care would you want? Independent party how do they view health care?
You have listed a lot of aspects of health care and I would be writing a thesis if I tried to answer them all. As an independent, I want to take care of my own health care, I don't want the government involved, it is a personal issue. It is unconstitutional to require citizens to buy health care, there are those people who do not want it and should have the right NOT to purchase it without being fined. No one in the US goes without health care, there are programs that cover individuals and families along with the fact that if some needs care, all they have to do is go into a hospital emergency room and they get the care they need. This administration passed this health care plan as a precursor to socializing the US, something most citizens do not want. It has nothing to do with trying to help, it's a power grab, just as they want to control banks and car companies along with wanting to put insurance companies out of business with provisions that will make it impossible for them to operate. The democrats need to be voted out and hopefully all the crap this president has foisted upon us can be undone, hopefully...
