Cant update netflix on PS3?
There is a new 2.0.4 Netflix Software Update. You have to install it through your PS3/Netflix app, not through your PC. Are you running wired, or wireless? Is your network connectivity okay? Try deleting the original Netflix that is installed on your PS3. Then redownloading/installing if you are still having problems.
Netflix Update on Xbox 360, Not Working?!?
The same problem occurred with mine after the update. But I was able to fix it. -Clear your cache on your hard drive (System settings, Memory, Press Y, Clear cache) -Delete Netflix through (System settings, Memory, Hard drive, Games, then Netflix) -Now delete the new system update and reinstall (Access the same screen where you viewed "Clear cache," and enter [X, X, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X, X]) -Sign back into xboxlive, reinstall the new update, and download Netflix again. None of the advice here will delete any downloaded content, saved games, or anything vital. This worked for me and others on the xbox.com forums.

Why does it take so long for Netflix to update on seasons from famous shows?
Good question.After a season concludes, you know what comes next: summer reruns. The networks still make money from advertising. Consequently, Netflix has to wait to buy the series, providing of course the network is still willing to sell it.I deserted cable long ago. I do not watch a series week to week. I wait until the conclusion of a series an then watch all of the episodes.

Netflix exists as two parts in your Wii. The channel data, and the save state data. Updating one doesn't affect the other. So you can update the channel, and your login information will not change. It has nothing to do with the content provided from Netflix, as everything is driven off of the network on Netflix servers.

If you mean updates to the range of TV and films in their catalogue, they add and remove titles pretty much every day. There's plenty of handy websites that help keep track of it (Netflix's own UX for this is terrible, for reasons I've never understood).
