Newly Built Computer Won

New computer build won't boot.?

First thing, are the 2 6pin PCI-E connectors attached to the video card? If they are, are both sticks of ram in the same color slot, should both be in the blue slots. Unplug and remove the data cables for other items, harddrive, opticals etc. Just the CPU, GPU, single stick of ram and HSF. Does the machine turn on and post? If it does or doesn't, power down, and remove the single ram module and replace it with the other. Power on, does it post? If it wont post you have faulty ram, RMA it. If so, power down and install both in blue, If you get no post with the bare minimum installed, and it wont work with either piece of ram installed, it could be a video card issue, or it could be the processor. Is your processor supported by that board? You did not list the CPU you had.

My newly built computer will not turn on?

Sounds like a power supply problem .

New computer build wont start?

Is the 4 pin power connector connected to the motherboard? Not connecting that is a common mistake, and will cause the computer to behave as your described. Basically everything is able to power up except the CPU, and without that the PC is pretty much useless.

Or your PSU might not be powerful enough. What are the specs?

How do I install Windows onto my newly built computer?

Assuming that your computer has no Operating system except BIOS on it.(BIOS is a small basic operating system comes loaded from manufacturer on motherboards.)Procedure:Get a retail version of Windows from your nearest retailer offline OR buy it online from any e-commerce website OR Download the Installation image separately from microsoft and buy the key from their site. (Incase of downloaded installation image.. check step ##)Insert your Installation media(disc or pendrive) in the computer.Boot it from the media, the setup should automatically start. Now you're good to go, follow the onscreen setup and install Window.…## to make your installation media with a bootable drive, Burn the downloaded windows image in a pendrive or Disc using Power ISO or any other tool of your choice. Now follow steps from 2Note: doing step ## is much faster than all other options, although you need another PC to burn the image.

First time build, Computer won't start, need help?

I have a ;

OS : None Purchased yet.
VIDEO CARD : EVGA GeForce GTX 560 1GB GDDR5 PCIe Dual DVI/HDMI
MOTHERBOARD : M452-6208 MSI H61M-P23 B3 Intel H61 Socket LGA1155 MB
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3Ghz Unlocked LGA1155 CPU
RAM : A206-5800 ADATA PREMIER SERIES 4GB DDR3 1333MHZ DESKTOP
DVD DRIVE : O451-1030 OEM Sony Optiarc 24X DVDRW SATA OEM
CHASIS: Thermaltake V2 Mid Tower ATX Case
HDD : TSD-1000AS6 SY Seagate 1TB LP Serial ATA HD 5900/32MB/SATA-3G
PSU : Corsair TX850W 850W Power Supply

I plugged everything in, reseated everything, Plugged the 24 pin and the 6 pin connector, all my Front end plugs are set correct, I do not have the hard drive or the Dvd-Rom plugged in, I have a keyboard and DVI cord plugged in (The DVI to the Video Card).

The Video Card has to PCI power cord's going into it.

The Problem is I plug it in and nothing no sound whats or ever, I tried replacing the motherboard and still nothing, I tried resetting everything and have got nothing, I ruled out a bad PSU by testing it and seeing that it ran smoothly.

Last night I plugged it in and randomly it started perfectly but I had nothing plugged in so couldn't see if a BIOS screen came up, I got some beeps but didn't count them so I have no Idea what they mean when I shut it off to bring it to where it needed to be, and plug in the keybaord and monitor suddenly it won't turn on again.

ANY HELP WOULD BE AMAZING !!

Custom Build Computer Won't Boot. Dr. Debug codes 4F, A2 and 78.?

According to your manual, seen here

Link: ( ftp://66.226.78.21/manual/Z87%20Extreme4... ) pages 30 and 31.

A2: means that there is a problem with one or more of your SATA devices, ( check to make sure all of your SATA devices are plug in correctly)

78: Means there is a chipset error, this could mean that your ( motherboard chipset is bad)

4F: means that there is an error of the CPU.

Since there is more then one problem and I highly doubt all of your components are going bad all at once, which is very very rare.I'm taking it that something is at fault with your motherboard, maybe the chipset went bad and the rest of the components are not getting recognized. I recommend RMAing the motherboard as I'm pretty sure that is your problem.

Hope this helped you,
