Nice Romantic Hotel Northern Ireland

Interesting things to do in a hotel room?

i was just in almost the exact same situation with my girl. I dont know what kind of hotel your staying in but we were in a four star so... i got a suit and covered the bed with rose pedals. Huge bouquet of roses. Some home made chocolates made in the hotel. And best of all i got the hotel to bring chocolate fondu to the room. although alittle messy ;) it was alot of fun. There are also lots of fun places you can get friski in the hotel. for example we went swimming in the middle of the night so there was no one to see us. Went into the sauna and and did stuff there. there is also the elevator. If your hotel has alot of floors that can be tons of fun to! hope this helps

Why are the romantic getaways in Southern California so expensive?

You aim too high. Find a nice motel along the beach off of PCH in Malibu or go camping in a state park and spend the money you save on dinner, bike rentals, and shopping instead. An even better idea is to buy a used supercar on SuperCarCloud.com | Used SuperCars For Sale and drive from La Jolla to Monterrey up North along the coast.

Has anyone ever been to Ireland? How is it for a honeymoon?

In Ireland we say… it’s the most beautiful country in the world when the sun is shining. While Ireland has a mild climate for it’s latitude, it is considerably cooler than you are used to and very unpredictable. To give you an example, here are two pictures I took last June. They were taken three hours apart on the same day. The island in the background of the second pic, is the one shrouded in fog.I would say that it could make a wonderful honeymoon location, for a resonably active couple. If you like kayaking, hiking, nosing around old Castles and country houses. What is the most romantic thing to see/do/experience/visit in Paris on a Friday night?

I'll answer a bit "à côté", omitting the "Friday night" detail and telling you about something that you should not do in Paris when looking for something romantic to do.Please, don't put "love locks" on bridges such as Pont des Arts or Pont de l'Archevêché.Apart from the whole "love means we're locked together" thing that is your personal business, adding your own bit of metal to a structure that just wasn't built to support all that extra weight is dangerous, disgraceful, and some would say even close to vandalism. Last week, one of the gates on Pont des Arts collapsed under the weight of half a ton of "love locks": bridge gates are not made to support an extra half a ton of metal (if a 155m bridge is lined with, say, 77 two-meter long gates, on both sides, that's 77 tons of extra weight in "love locks"). The Town Hall had to remove 37 of those gates from various bridges to avoid other accidents. There are plenty of romantic things to do in Paris that won't degrade the city scape, esthetically or structurally. Cruising on the Seine while dining on a "péniche" is just one example.More info on "love locks" here: The Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, and the City Council of Paris: BAN ‘LOVE LOCKS’ IN PARIS NOW! Would it be better to honeymoon in Rome or Venice Italy for one full week?

If you're going to pick one, Rome has more to see and do for a week and is a bit less expensive. Venice is a nice romantic place for a honeymoon, but you can pretty much cover the city in a couple of days. It's also only 1 hr 35 min on the train to Florence for a day trip or 1 hr 10 min to Naples using the fast trains. http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/homepag... . Venice is a little less than 4 hours on a fast train from Rome - if you really want to do 7.5 hours on the trains one day, it can be done as a day trip. A better option is to take the night train that leaves Roma Tiburtina station at 10:36 pm and arrives in Venice at 5:56 the next morning. You can sleep on the train through the night, get in a full day of sightseeing in Venice, and take either a late fast train or a night train back to Rome. The night train is a little cheaper for a berth than the fast trains during the day. For people not doing this as a day trip, it saves on the cost of a hotel for the night, but you would want to keep the place in Rome. I like the night trains as an option, but they're not for everyone.

Depending on exactly when you're here in October, you might consider visiting Perugia for the Eurochocolate festival. It's a huge event, some of which is set up in old 14th century buildings which are now underground beneath the current city.
