Nightmare Haircut; What Are My Legal Rights

My 16 year old son got his girlfriend pregnant and her parents are treating him like crap?

She's about 6 months along and he does EVERYTHING for this girl. He picks her up from school so she doesn't have to walk, he picks her up after work. He brings her to our house rubs her back, rubs her feet, helps her talk through her bad days. He makes her dinner gets her whatever it is that she's craving no matter what it takes. He's spending all of the money we give him on his girlfriend and things for the baby. He buys her food she wants, clothes for the baby, toys for the baby. The problem is he is always getting his feelings hurts by her parents. They make our son feel so bad about the things he does. They call him names, tell him to stay away from their daughter and all kinds of other names. They tell him he won't be able to see the baby or be with the baby when she's born. The other day my son came home literally crying to my wife because they told him he won't be able to see his daughter when she's born or be at the birth. So my wife went to the girls parents house and got in this huge argument with the girls mother. The police were called because of the disturbance. The argument did turn physical and i had to literally lift my wife and put her in the car. What can we do to break this tension? How do we stop them from treating our son so poorly we need help

Is my father mildly histrionic? Aspergers? Narcissist? MIld sociopath?

Martell, do you honestly think someone like this thinks or even knows they have something wrong with them?? Give me a break. The only reason he'd bring someone to a mental health clinic is to get them diagnosed. He is in denial about, well, everything.

Does a criminal background check mean discrimination?

Your situation is difficult, with a conviction doesn't mean you won't find employment but it does mean it will be more difficult to find employment. That said - think about it this way:

If you tell potential employers that you have a criminal conviction, that you've done your dues and you have no intention of repeating that mistake that is much better than not mentioning a criminal conviction and having that come out during the criminal background check.

Additionally, a drug offense, especially if it was for possession, wouldn't alarm me. Although I might make periodic drug tests a part of the terms of your employment because welding and drugs just make for insurance nightmares.

Your opinion on civilian vs military life?

I was both. I love law and the Constitution, so naturally, I like Civilian over Military Experience, however, you will say that you hold yourself higher, and have more confidence over others.
I like the type of elitism of the military, but I do love the idea of making decisions for myself.
I was a MP, so I never had a chance for college, and that's why I love civilian life as well.

Political Correctness has ruined civilian life though.

By the way, check the states before you make a broad statement about laws about domestic violences, in some states it's mandatory that somebody be arrested in case of a DV (domestic violence), of course, I'm referring to the post above, not yours.- and broader power isn't necessarily the best, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
